Great location, nice rooms but horrible service and hidden fees were preposterous. $44 valet every night and resort fees. Housekeeping doesn’t change sheets because they don’t offer full room service so we slept on stained, crumb filled sheets for four nights. Trash cans overflowing, no coffee, no toilet paper, used slippers, used robes, and body wash empty. Every time we called which was at least three times a day the service was slow and sometimes never answered. Visor on duty when we checked and was very rude, did not care about our issues. Of the females at the front desk were trained to make empty promises and show sympathy, empty sympathy. They don’t care what our experiences are they just wanna pretend they do. This is the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at for customer service, room service and management employees. Nice location and the guys who are parking our car with our forced valet service were very nice, very accommodating and we met a very awesome security guard he was very sweet and nice and helpful. Basically the ones who probably get paid the least treated us the best: The security, and the valet parking guys. Front counter reception/reservation supervisors, managers and housekeeping we’re all terrible.
Such an amazing hotel. Apparently a brand new build and it’s got a great beach vibe, almost reminds me of Miami. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed with everything you would need staying for a night or beach weekend! The pool deck is phenomenal it’s right on the strip walking distance to the beach. You can get beach chairs too!The hotel was kid friendly but I would stay across the street at their sister property Mission Pacific. The restaurants were great too, brunch looked delicious at Piper but we went across the street to High Low and man it was on point. Thanks to Elijah and Sarah for taking great care of us. So nice to have a great hotel like this 30 min from San Diego for a get away.
Beautiful aesthetic and great location. Just wasn’t super impressed with any of the amenities. The “surfboard valet” seems to just be for show as the bellhops encouraged us to take our boards to our room. The room was nice but we paid for an upgrade then quickly realized we were one of the few rooms without a balcony. The in room coffee was espresso which I typically enjoy but it was undrinkable. Thank goodness for Parlour donuts around the corner with delicious donuts and espresso drinks. Pool service was friendly but extremely slow. Beer, food, and drink offerings were just ok. Overall wasn’t super impressed with the hotel, wouldn’t go back or recommend to others.
I attended a conference for two days here. I didn’t stay in a hotel room. I have to say it’s a beautiful hotel. The views are amazing. Right across the street from the ocean with fantastic views of the pier and walking distance to all of the restaurants and things to do. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food for the event was delicious. The ballroom is expertly setup for meetings and presentations with comfortable and tasteful seating and tables. The event looked awesome on video. Everything was perfect.
Great experience. I was welcomed with a warm touch and that made me feel at home but with lots of additional attentions. Great place for couple as you can enjoy a beautiful Romantic sunset on the ocean from the suggestive rooftop terrace. Music there embrace you with a private atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms very comfortable as well as the bed but the best thing overall, if you chose to stay to the front ocean view rooms, is that you can wake up immersed in the pink light of dawn that colors the sea and the palms with golden reflections! Absolutely a remarkable stay
Amazed by Southern California and by the fantastic Hotel in a spectacular location.Although we were staying in Mission Pacific, I had the opportunity to enjoy the restaurants at Seabird Resort. Breakfast was a delight in presentation, quality, variety; like the rest of the restaurants where I was able to enjoy a wonderful dinner with the touch of a renowned Mexican Chef. The staff of the entire hotel is fully oriented towards customer satisfaction and to ensure that your stay with them is completely memorable.I do not forget the promenade and the pier... a real joy for walking and for those who love running.Looking forward to coming back!
Incredible experience the moment you walk into the Seabird… from friendly valets to their locally curated art collections to the amazing rooms w/ balconies and wonderful Piper restaurant— we loved this hotel. The rooms with an ocean view are wonderful, large & the bathrooms are great with rain shower heads. A ton of different places to sit and relax in the Cali Sun on the property & across the street at Mission Pacific.Their Piper Restaurant is great and staff is so friendly (shout out to Spencer and Karl who were both so nice) and the Shore is great too. Give their take on an espresso martini (Black Pearl) a try— an absolute delight. Can’t wait to come back!
On a trip around Southern California we booked this brand new Hotel because it looked different that everything that was out there. We were not disappointed.. amazing everything: Rooms, staff, food and pool area all fantastic. Lots of the details don’t look like the Hotel is only 4 stars. The quality of the beds, linens, appliances like water faucets etc are all amazing and the staff is absolutely Uber friendly and goes out the way to help… wishing them a lot of success .. they have earned it
Would definitely go back with family to enjoy this amazing hotel - location, staff, amenities and design - all five star! Pool deck and shelter club are a perfect oasis and the ground floor lobby and bar are spectacular! Feels very boutique hotel quality and atmosphere. Sister hotel next door has an amazing roof top bar and the coolest retail space in California - The Ozone.
Wow, stepping into the pool area you almost feel as if you have escaped California and headed to Hawaii. The pool has a great view of the coast and I am sure swimming at sunset is such a magical moment. The decor, beamed ceilings, and art work are second to none. I can see why the Oceanside Museum of Art chose this location for their swanky night out fundraising event. The set up for the event was incredible. The hotel room itself had a small, but quaint separate seating and lounge area. There were a plethora of people with dogs, so I would presume this is a pet friendly hotel, however I am not aware of their pet policy so you made need to check with them about bringing your zebra, monkey or flamingos, as they would add an amazing ambiance to the lobby.
