Brought my best friends from out of town for some food in Oceanside only to be ignored for twenty minutes while other tables were helped. I couldn’t help but feel that we were ignored for that long because of how we looked. Crossed the street to Best Pizza and Brew and got amazing service and food right away!
I am very fussy about burgers as I make my own recipe when I am home which is juicy and tasty. My burger at this restaurant however was DELICIOUS. It was cooked correctly at medium rare and the combination of Portobello mushroom and danish blue cheese was wonderful. The bonus was the fries: thin and crisp and not over seasoned. Thank you to the cook who made my meal! And thanks to Lisa, our server who was pleasant and came by just enough to check in on us.
We ordered lots and all of the food was quite good.The rest room however was awful! Sink, toilet, floors, and urinal were all filthy. This space for customers and especially staff, should be cleaned and disinfected regularly throughout the day.
Plenty of pizzas to choose from.Good pizza. Nice atmosphere. Good service. They also have a good wine selection.

Place has good food & wine for a fair price. We go to this restaurant often. The only problem I have was, I had the fish tacos the other day and there was a good sized thick piece of hard plastic in my food that when I bit down into my food it loosened my bridge. I told the manager and he took my number & email but I still have not received a call from the owner yet, which is why only 3 stars. Unfortunately, the owner just ignored this incident, but I have an appointment with the dentist to get xrays and evaluation of what needs to be done to fix the problem and then I will be forwarding the bill to the owner of whatever needs to fixed.
Great food and drinks. Been coming to the Privateer for years. The brick oven pizzas are great!
I enjoyed eating indoor on the cool winter evening. Our server was nice, friendly and checked up on us often. The service was real great and food was delicious and fresh. Everyone eating inside was 6+ feet apart. Most people were dinning out in the patio. This was my first time theren I was very happy with everything and enjoy the environment. I saw them cleaning and sensitizing tables and chairs. And people were wearing their face mask. Will visit again when I am in the area again.
Good food and service. Simple and unique is the best way to success and happy customers. I will be back.
