My Brother and I visited the Oceanside CA Texas Roadhouse and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service provided by our waitress DANIELLE. Thanks to her expert menu recommendations we ordered and enjoyed some awesome drinks, appetizers and of course some exquisite entrees. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Danielle’s high customer service skills enabled a warm and welcoming environment!
Amazing value! I got a full slab of ribs, they really are fall-off-the-bone tender, just as advertised. The chili was a particular stand out also - very meaty and filling with even just the cup. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sirloin steak as tender and flavorful as this one - didn’t taste like chemical tenderizer, either. Just pure deliciousness. We’ll certainly be back again. Not sure how they stay in business with the responsible prices and huge portions - I guess it’s volume because they were REALLY busy. Good place for kids - it was noisy and casual. Better value than Outback, just as good as high-end steak places w/o the fluff and price.
Fantastic appetizers, drinks and steaks! Server was new but sweet and attentive. Long wait here but they do a good job at estimating time and efficiently getting people seated using a virtual wait. Great County atmosphere and music. Cheap bill for how good of an experience we had. Well continuing coming back again and again. Fun birthday surprise when they brought out the saddle!
My husband and I went for dinner. As we are on Social Security, we checked the menu prices listed on their website before going. BIG shock when we got there. Prices of steaks averaged $8.00 more than listed! Big Disappointment. To top it, the potato and steak were over salted.
I had to return so this place could redeem the 3 stars I gave a few weeks ago. I admit I had a awful waiter, with pleasant food, so I was tempted to go back and try again. First off, the food here is amazing. From the butter to the steaks, the ribs falling off the bone, to the salmon. Everything we ordered again did not disappoint. I mean even the lettuce is fresh and yummy! Let me quickly explain why I went from 3 stars, to 5. Last waiter didn't perform well, but the manager Chantal greeted us at the door with a smile and amazing energy. She was a bundle of nice, and it was pleasant to make small talk with her as we went to the table. She also double checked on us later during our time there, as the amazing Taylor took care of us. She was fast, she was friendly, she was nice to chat with, and she gave 5 star service. It's the service that gets the 5 stars from me, and where one man lacked, they redeemed. We will be back, and will recommend this place to our friends. Thank you ladies for the roadhouse limo ride!
I been to this restaurant a couple of times already, and I’m now doing a review on it. Out of all the time I’ve come here, the food were very delicious, and the staff were pretty nice. It’s always a lively place and I always enjoy my time there.
Great food, friendly service, fun ambiance...you can't beat it, unless its so busy you have to wait a couple hours to get in. Even then, worth the wait.
