Yummy, seaside taco shop with very coastal vibes. Anything w the Al Pastor meat is delicious! What makes this place earn its fifth star is the service. Everyone is kind and helpful. They treat you like a local. We’ll be back ? PS- remember the Michelada. It’s excellent
I went to have dinner with my kids today. We ordered carne asada tacos. The carne asada was a little bit too salty. We also ordered chips and toward the bottom I noticed pieces of dried meat. The employee in the front register gave me an unsatisfactory explanation of why there were pieces of dried carne asada in our chips.
The California burrito is full of fries, and the meat they put in there is full of fat and gristle so gross I gave them a second try and it was the same 2 burritos $40... salsa is terrible also
lovely place!!! the energy is just amazing. the bathroom (random but just trust me) was really cool and welcoming.
That Mango Margarita ???. The carne asada tacos were fantastic. Great vibe with a solid tequila selection.
Hole in the wall with great breakfasts and friendly people. TV’s above the bar.
They have friendly staff!
This is a busy spot, and no wonder! Sometimes there is live music! They have a nice menu, and dynamite bartenders. Located in the heart of downtown Oceanside, and easy walk from the beach or hotels. You order at the register, and food and drinks are brought to whichever table you choose. One of my favorites!
This place has started to take a dive, I hope they can turn it around. Been to this place a bunch of times before and frequent the one in Carlsbad. Tonight everything was overcooked, bacon dog was black, meat was dry, even the cheese in the quesadilla was burnt, like brown inside. Where is the quality control? Cool overcooked, then waitress still served visually burnt food. Food hasn't been amazing the last few times. Probably going to only be going to the Carlsbad location from now on as they are way more consistent and I recognize a lot of the people there(this location seems like a revolving door of employees).
Don’t go on a busy taco Tuesday. It was just me and I wanted to try the chicharron taco. They were out. I was hoping they’d allow me to order to go but got declined. The older man behind the register was very preoccupied and seemed rude, barely acknowledging me and seemed bothered.Okay, so I chose a giant table for just me (social distancing)I got the Asada nachos over lettuce and fish taco. Food was okay for the price. Not my fave place for authentic Food but it’s cheap during happy hour or on a Tuesday. The bartender is nice and works hard. This place is a locals spot for cheap eats, you get what you pay for. About $15
