Great wine tasting options, nice staff, and amazing food. Get the cheeseboard!
I had 2 very different experiences here in 2 days. One on a food tour, great service and food. Second not on a tour and really bad service and had to cancel our food as it took over an hour to get. Kinda sad and I really want to like this place.
Usually very very good. Nice menu choices. Flavorful. But on 2 recent trips the are out of items which is disappointing. Burger over done even when sent back…maybe a new cook? Staff is very wonderful and the wines are great. I’m hoping they go back to the 5 star place they were.
Nice outdoor patio. Great place to relax and people watch. Wine is delicious. Nice SoCal experience.
I walk past here on a daily basis because I live in an apartment above. Every time I walk past I see happy people and smiling faces. I see the staff greet customers at the door, poor them wine, and serve them food, and they always do so in a polite and courteous way, with a big smile on their face. The crowd is always diverse, and the chill vibe seems to be appealing to all. If you want to hear some fantastic music, I’ve seen (heard) everything from a guy with a saxophone, to a beautiful voiced female that sings every Thursday night as she strums her acoustic guitar to some of the best renditions of cover songs I’ve ever heard, and I’ve been around. I personally don’t drink alcohol, but as I walk past and read the daily changing wine list, I can tell you that they serve nothing but the finest wines in the California region, if not the world.
Terrible wine and super basic food that was overcooked and way too crispy and greasy. They must have a monkey in the kitchen.I'm appalled this place has such high reviews. I guess it just speaks to the type of guests it has. #BasicDO NOT RECOMMEND
Who wears yoga pants and workout clothes to work? The wine was overpriced and underwhelming. Although I wasn't expecting anything good coming from San Diego. We won't be back unless we're desperate. ?
For the food and the music I gladly give two stars each. Nothing extraordinary, but very solid. For the service, however, I have to deduct some again. 4.5 weeks I traveled through the southwest... I have never experienced such poor service. The main courses came first and with about 10 minutes time difference and the starter came even later. No water on the table and when asked, water was served in paper cups. Too bad, because the restaurant would have a lot of potential.
Great atmosphere and fantastic food. There is an extensive menu but I would suggest their flatbread, salads and brussel sprouts. Parking is a little tricky but it's well worth the extra trouble! Definitely recommend this place.
Simple spot to have a glass of wine and you can taste before you choose what you like. Not the best pricing but not the worst either. Service staff is very young but overall were attentive.
