I’ve been to this place 3 times, all of which I’ve gotten the boneless jerk chicken bowl with mango salad. Which has been great, I usually try to tip a couple of dollars when I go as I did this final time. I got my food in about 3 mins from ordering it ( meaning it was sitting) but when I got home and opened it up the plate was covered in macaroni salad. #1 ewww #2 why does my plate of residue from something I didn’t order, especially when I’m paying above the amount you’ve set. I’m not sure who’s to blame, the lady who took my order was sweet and nice but the lady who gave me my food, would’ve been a great actor for the grinch. If I could give it a 3.5 I would. I guess this is a picky complaint but hold your employees accountable. Don’t let them put something one a plate that’s not the order and just wipe it off and put the correct thing in it. I probably won’t be returning here. Who knows what other cross contact goes on
I had a great take out experience.The menu represents most things you’ll find common on trips to Jamaica.The service was first rate, and the food was good.I got the jerk chicken, which was very good at least on comparison to visits to Jamaica.The Pattie’s were good, but could do with a bit more meat in my opinion.I’ll look forward to exploring more the menu.
I love Jamaican food but everything here was greasy, from my plate to the patty.I asked for a wrap and got a burrito, no biggie because I can cut it in half myself.An Asian woman that works in the back was twirling her hair so I question sanitary.I’m not satisfied. $60 down the drain. I gave a three for effort and the sweet lady at register.
I was in the mood to try something new and found this little Jamaican place in the heart of Oceanside. Boneless Jerk Chicken was tender and flavorful Vegan Ital was tasty too served with rice I really liked plantains. Steamed cabbage was sort of bland tho Other then that It was delicious . I was so happy this place is still around! I don't get out this way that much but every time I do I find an excuse to stop here and eat. The staff is ridiculously friendly and the food is insanely good. You can bring some home to your friends and I guarantee they will praise you for it. This food is definitely in my top five all time favorites. What's so cool is that it's consistently good. You know how you go some place and it's good and then next time you go it's only so so. I am like having a mouth orgasm every time I go here.
Owner and wife very nice. Food very authentic. Go in spend $40 for 2 diners, Take it home and WOW the portions are SO MINIMAL for that $ and this type of food...To my wife and I that was a big disappointment. Its too bad, I won't go back because we look at value that delivers good food and a sufficient amount. The portions were VERY sparse, making the place just not worth it.

Their food is so good! Great mom and pop restaurant. I could eat their mango salsa all day. My favorite is the Ital and so much flavor!
Had the oxtail, rice, and plantains. It was very good. The spices were just right and everything had the correct flavor and consistency. The Creme sodsa was good also. Highly recommend this place for lunch.
We wanted to try something new and we came across this gem! The food is spectacular ? you can taste the love. We will definitely be back.
