Los Tacos seems like a boring name for a restaurant, but it's really all about THE TACOS. They start with the most perfect corn tortillas and then grill them with cheese before filling them to make them even more perfect. It's amazing. I haven't tried the birria but it looks legit. The grilled veggies are super fresh, the guacamole is smooth with a little citrus, and the salsa verde is so good that I'd take it in a to-go cup if I could. 5/5 delicious.
Upon entering this local eatery, you’ll often find Maria at the grill making tortillas from scratch. This taco shop has excellent service, good home-style food, and awesome street-style tacos served with guacamole, cilantro, and onions. Los Tacos also offers an extensive menu at very reasonable prices. I always order the al pastor tacos with rice and beans. Maria is such a lovely and welcoming person; it brought back fond memories from my past of my mother's cooking. Special note: don't miss out; their taco Tuesday is off the rails.
I’m from Long Beach came out for a 3 day getaway.. the hubby decided on Mexican food from the last time we were out here.. I’m a foodie being a pescatarian expecting something delicious.. i ordered a shrimp bowl which was bland without flavor.. so disappointed.. never again!!
The tacos are good but the customer service is HORRIBLE. I'm currently waiting for my order and the cashier acted like he hated his job and taking orders is disrupting his day. I actually stopped coming here awhile back after coming multiple times a week because the service had gotten so bad. Do yourself a favor and just go to Primos for better prices, better service, and similar food.
I love coming here the food is always delicious the menu here is never lacking and Los Tacos are fantastic I always come by every week to eat some of my favorite tacos and try something new. I recommend this places to anyone looking to make their growling stomach happy!
Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4u! I visited this hidden small restaurant and I must say the food was amazing!!! In my visit I ordered a burrito call Dos Amores (2 loves). The burrito was about 1ft or 1 and 1ft 1/2in long and about 4in or 4 1/2in thick filled with meet and much more. Amazing taste and sure to fill up this big 6ft 2in guy. The customer service was great and very clean inside and out. I highly recommend this place!??
We have been coming to this location for 5 years now. Almost every time it has been great until tonight. I don't know what is goin on there but the food was bland our burritos were sub par at best. There was hardly any meat on them and the tacos weren't any better. I hope this place figures out what the problem is. For 50 plus dollars I expect it to have some flavor....
The lady at the counter was very kind and respectful, made me feel comfortable being in the store alone! A little pricey, but I did order 4 of the more expensive burritos so it makes sense :) got all of them out to me in LESS than 10 minutes! That's insane! Can't wait to try them
The tacos here were just ok in flavor and extremely over priced. I ordered 10 carne and 1 al pastor tacos and dropped $37. If the tacos traditionally come with guacamole, cilantro, onions and one other item (can’t remember) why would you charge someone an additional $2.75 for lettuce and cheese only when they are omitting the guacamole and all other items?!? I didn’t see them giving me a deduction in price when I ordered 5 of those carne asada tacos with cilantro and onions only. The carne asada was just ok; it lacked flavor and charred-ness. Sadly this will. It be my go to taco place. The great thing about SD is that there is just another taco place around the corner.
Tacos are very good...the asada comes with beans...not alot but something to keep in mind only the asada for some reason...u can say no beans or onions...etc the prices are as expected not cheap not expensive but definitely more than your regular taco shop at the corner....but they taste much better
