Food was basic, but good. The service was horrible!
Old style steakhouse! Reasonably priced steaks and other entrees! OK wine list. Pretty solid! Been in biz over 40 years!
Very average everything, to be honest. 3rd time here and won't be returning. Not terrible - just no reason to return.
Old school steakhouse that I went to as a child. Had a couple appetizers and we all had different entrees and everything was very good. Steaks were excellent quality, portions good and loved that table side salad bar. Server was attentive despite a full dining room . Wrapped the evening with the famous mud pie so good! Great experience
All meals were hot and prepared as asked.
Unfortuately, there was a large drunk group that probably ruined it for everyone in the resturant because of the unruly group. The staff did nothing to control the loud noise, we were very disappointed with the amount of alcohol they were allowed to consume. Been years since we visited and won't be back in the near future, disappointed..
We have been telling all our friends and neighbors Abut your restaurant. The food was wonderful. We have eaten there before and it just gets better and better. Thank you and our waitress for making our 64th Anniversary an evening to remember'
I love the relaxed feel of this place â like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
It was good.. not bad for the price
The food was great. Drinks were standard but pricey. It may have just been our server but it appeared she was bored and didn't want to be there. We had to ask for bread...knife..and at the end a bag to carry out leftovers. It kind of given us a chill on a special night we were celebrating. Had much better experience at the Hunters in Bakersfield.
