We went there for our 20 year wedding anniversary and had the best experience. Our waitress Jordyn totally made our night as she was the best server we have ever had. Her energy was awesome! The food was amazing!

It was dare not with the wife. Hello Betty is our go to spot in Oceanside! The food, music and ambiance is always amazing. Big shot out to the management and staff!
This was the 1 restaurant that I was excited to go to during my vacation. It's totally overrated and overpriced considering the size of the 2 bite taco. Servers were friendly but extremely slow and it was a Thursday night with half of the tables empty . Food was cold and just ok. One and done for me.
Treated a friend visiting from out of town. Cute outdoor patio, lots of space for groups, great service. We enjoyed our cocktails and the crab dip is amazing. Will def come again.

Sooooo disappointed in the mediocre food. The sign out front says âFish Houseâ. It is anything but. It does serve some fish but it is not a fish house. We had the fish platter, street tacos and margs. All were pretty tasteless. Sad.
We enjoy Hello Betty tremendously! We happened upon this restaurant the first time. We were looking for good fish and chips. Hello Betty delivered and then delivered again! The fish is firm with a crunchy batter that is not greasy or clumpy. It's the way fish and chips should taste! We also tried the shrimp and chips. Same light batter coating that has a great crunch. Both dishes were fantastic flavor! The staff at Hello Betty was friendly and fast. You could tell they enjoyed working at Hello Betty. If you are looking for a great fish and chips, skip the place in Pacific Beach and drive up the coast to Hello Betty. You won't be disappointed!
Surpassed my expectations by miles!! Rockfish and a heap of fresh veggies cooked to perfection! Caesar Salad as fresh as could be and actually nicely chopped. Crispy capers? O. M. G. Brennan was our star server! Just passing through, or we would return often to say Hello Betty!!! Yum!! Only sorry I didn't take a photo of my Grilled Fish Plate!
It took four times of asking for water before we got water; the appetizers came before our water and beer. Then ordered, food came and we had to ask for napkins and utensils, waitress brought 4 servings not for entire party of 6. I got up and went to the bar and got 2 more sets. After lunch, we asked to see a dessert menu and she said thereâs only 2 choices; we asked for a minute to decide, she didnât return for 15 minutes and then asked if we needed any boxes for take home. We requested one of the desserts, she never returned. After another 10 minutes we flagged her down and cancelled dessert, requested our checks. She brought the checks saying she deducted our drinks, except the one beer, and after she gathered the checks finally returned with a to go box. It took 2:40 minutes for lunch. The service was the worse any of us have had in 20 years!!! itâs a shame because I always bring out of town guests here, but Iâll never set foot in there again. So sad, but there are too many restaurants with much better service. I didnât even decide to call the manager today to let them know just how bad the service is, surely Iâm not the first to be disappointed.
