Harbor Fish and Chips is a great place to eat. You order at the counter and when it's ready, you can eat outside at the picnic tables and enjoy the marina. The food is freshly made and delicious. It's also very reasonably priced.
Gave this place another shot as went a couple years ago and vowed not to get ripped off again. Explained my experience from two years ago andAsked if they were going to be large pieces or bits and pieces made to look like one big piece.The workers behind the counter were extremely nice and gave me an explanation for why I was served bits a couple years ago so I decided to place an order. The difference was night and day from my first experienceI will be coming back again
The service is excellent and the fish is fresh and tasty. One can eat inside, on an enclosed patio, or outside at water's edge (seagulls and other avian friends sometimes join you there). Wine and beer are available. The clam chowder shows up the fancy places easily. One of the nicest spots in Oceanside.
The food here was Phenomenal we loved the shrimp and fish combo then went on a dolphin and whale watching adventure
Pretty good and fresh! Classic fish and chips, exactly what I wanted. Not too crowded for being a long weekend.
We tried this place because we saw it was locally owned. We want to support local every chance we get. For a harbor front fish and chips joint, we thought it was too pricey. But, I guess they need to pay foe that spot. We enjoyed the outdoor seating next to the harbor. They have several tables outside. My burger was cooked perfectly and I could get a salad instead for the fries. My husband ordered the fried fish. He got two generous strips but the fried coating was a little too heavy. He ended up just stripping the coating and eating the naked fish. Overall, it was a good outing.
I personally liked this place. Ordered the fish tacos with onion rings. Service was fast, lots of food. Not really much ambiance, but that was fine. Fish was crispy and tasty, yeah, it was a lot of breading but I personally like that. The onion rings were good too imo. Would eat here again.
Absolute BEST fish & chips I've ever had. It is an awesome little place that is BUSY on a Saturday night. I'm sure plenty of locals gather here as the food is outstanding! Don't be thrown off by their website (which needs some polishing) thier food speaks for itself. I can't wait to go back!!

We ordered 2 Lg fish w/sides. Fish batter had no seasoning, no flavor and very greasy. Also they did not have a restroom for us to use was told that they closed up the bathroom early evening and locked it up with was a disappointment especially when your sitting there eating and drinking. This is our 1st time here and won't be back $32 down the drain.
