I just saw this place on a list of the top 15 cocktail bars in San Diego, so we stopped in for a couple of cocktails to see what all the fuss is about. I totally get it. Looking forward to returning to trying some different cocktails.
Good. Trendy. House cocktails are a little different but we like the Rosé. Kinda pricey. Total hipster joint. I feel old when I go and I'm almost 40.
A fantastic drink for a fantastic cocktail bat. With the menu changing as they so I will definitely be back whenever I am in Oceanside.
Frankie's makes some really excellent cocktails. Try the Silent Radio for a tasty mezcal drink. The bartender was very knowledgeable and knew how to make wonderful drinks.
I love the atmosphere. It's an awesome place to enjoy a drink and socially with friends. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on different drinks.
Nice joint for drinks. But no food
Good spot to drink wine. Get a bottle of wine it’s cheaper than individual glasses. Only downside they won’t let you eat or rather bring in outside food. Kinda sucks.
Love Frankie's. Great cocktails that are a bit more complicated than I'm willing to make at home. Descent tap list and I really enjoy the ambiance as well. Ooooonly complaint is the same as everywhere which is cocktails are expensive. Hasn't stopped me from coming back though. Very happy to have a place like this in Oceanside.
It's 1942. You've just bought a new fedora and trenchoat, and you're looking to grab a nightcap before heading home for the evening. You may or may not be Frank Sinatra. Frankie's is the place, the time, and the vibe.A bit of that old Hollywood glamor to the place, with phenomenal cocktails to boot. The Southern Moon (bourbon, apricot, brown butter, rosemary & lemon) was the cat's meow, the bee's knees, the hot potato. I want all my drinks to have brown butter in them going forward. All of them.Very chill but classy vibe to the place, with excellent service and well thought out drinks. Every cocktail was clearly created with great care, with interesting and unique flavor combinations and ingredients.I'll definitely be back to try more - the Night Cap (vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, orgeat cinnamon, allspice, espresso salt), Match Point (vodka, matcha, banana, lavender, rose, lemon), Boston Harbor (smoked rum, earl grey infused falernum, angostura) and Silent Radio (mezcal, acerola, coconut, falernum, lemon) are especially on my radar. Really the entire cocktail menu is worth a look. A fantastic place to start or end an evening out, whether you're grabbing a cocktail solo after work, for a date, or out with friends.
