This place was a great find. The Brussel sprouts and the grits with bacon left me wanting more . Not only was the food amazing but the service was even better. This is a true definition of team work. Although I had 1 main waitress other staff members stopped by our table to check on us and offer other appetizer suggestions or drink recommendations. Friendly conversation with the staff as well. I give the food 10 stars and the customer service 11 stars !!!!! I wish there was a NY location!

Stopped by for a quick happy hour snack and hit the spot. The sammich and fries were crispy and well seasoned. It was nice sitting outside even on a gloomy day. Server was pretty chill and attentive. Finally checked out this spot. Their IG pics drew me in. Loved it! Such a cute place, the menu has some tasty offerings. Had the devil eggs, they're soaked in sweet tea and it's amazing! Tried the goat cheese with garlic confit with berry jam, they serve it with baguette. it's a foodies dream! The savory & sweet pair so well. Drink menu has many choices, speciality cocktails & craft beer is available. I had the Bees knees, with gin... Yum! On my next trip I will try their rib eye & man n cheese. This is definitely going to be on my brunch destination list. They have a front patio, location on Mission in Oceanside. Our server, Chase our server/bartender was excellent, friendly & so knowledgeable about the craft beer pairings. The Flying Pig is a Gem!
Great outdoor experience & service. Inside a bit cramped. Good selection of drinks. Few choices for entrees but lots of large appetizers. Must try the shrimp and grits. Yummy combo of creole salty and spicy. Doggy friendly!
New digs are really nice, although It would be great if the city would close down that area around Mission Ave to cars on weekend nights. Now that It appears outdoor dining is here to stay, a little less noise and fumes would really add to the ambiance.The food and wine were both excellent, especially the brussels. Entree menu is pretty limited; used to love the roast chicken, but it's nowhere to be found.Definitely will be back.
