Consistently great food, over the last 4 years we've lived in this area. Servers are soft-spoken, attentive & polite. Sweet & Sour Pork is one of my favorites here. Pork chunks, coated in an orange sauce are crispy on the outside, & succulent & juicy inside. Pineapple chunks, thinly-sliced, flower-shaped carrots, sliced green bell peppers & onions complete this tasty dish. Another here we love, is Chicken Chop Suey- tender thinly-sliced white meat chicken, broccoli, bok choy, zucchini, pea pods, mushrooms & cabbage, swimming in a delicious white sauce.
If you like wings the salt and pepper wings are so delicious and fresh. I’ve been here several times and each time the food was really good.
Chin’s brings real CHINESE food to life. The wonton soup is the best we have ever had… at least in the USA, have not traveled to Asia yet! The service is attentive and friendly, lots of jokes :) The entrees are FRESHLY prepared with even fresher ingredients. We do not give out 5 stars without true success in menu and experience! We come often.
Just wow! The service here was excellent, they are fast, attentive and very kind. The food was extremely delicious and the prices were decent. Got the orange chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken dumplings, cream cheese wontons and chow main. Extremely rich in authenticity with every bite! Would highly recommend it
MsgRequested no MSGFriend has allergies and requested no MSG. Waiter said he would tell them.Apparently she had a reaction. She said that was all she ate that day.The waiter charged me for a beverage.I was shocked and told him I did not order a beverage. He was rude but redid the bill at the table.
I will add myself to the list of folks who have been told by Chin's Oceanside not to order via "3rd parties". It is a ridiculous comment on multiple levels. We called because our order delivery time kept getting pushed out. Jeremy at the restaurant was very rude and said "I wish you wouldn't use 3rd parties." But we ordered via Chin's own site! The call ended with our being confused and dismayed. And Jeremy could really use some manners and customer service training.
Tonight was the first time using the delivery option on Chins website. It will also be the last time. The taste of the food was terrible and it made worse that it was also cold. I called Chins to let them know and request a refund. I was told since it went through a third party I’d have to call them for a refund. The link is on Chins website and they made the food so should take responsibility. I’ve been a good customer for the last 2 years but will never go there again.
WARNING!!! Place is great but phone number is wrong according to guy we picked up our to go order from. He said it’s the number for Doordash! And we were charged A LOT for a small pickup (not delivery!) order that he said was because of this problem and that it happens to lots of people. When I had called, the person who took the order NEVER identified as Doordash or anything but the restaurant.
I ordered vegetable lo mein with tofu. There was plenty of tofu but hardly any veggies. Super bummer. I ordered it super spicy with chili oil but it wasn't spicy at all. Extra bummer. There was hardly any taste to the dish.
1st time visiting this restaurant with my wife. Exceeded all our expectations. This is a hidden gem. Amazing food, excellent service and staff, very clean and beautiful decor inside. Would never expected this restaurant in a strip mall. Well worth the visit for the intimate setting and the quality of food. Had the Spicy Honey & Sesame Chicken, Egg roles and Fried rice. Going to visit regularly now.
