Ordered a large pizza with 3 toppings today. After picking it up, we saw that it was burnt and asked that another be made. Guy there said he would have another ready in 8 minutes. A freshly made pizza is not done in 8 minutes. The pizza was terrible! This pizza was definitely not freshly made, nearly burnt again, with next to no toppings. The thickness was very uneven with a large doughy part and the pizza cut very irregularly. May be the worst pizza we have ever had. And cost almost $30. Rating of zero stars!
Customer service is Horrible. 6/19/22 When my Food order was never processed. 45 mins later, Was told my meal could be COMPED I said fine. Thank you. Apparently the host doesn't know the definition of the word COMP so she basically canceled my order. When I addressed my meal. I was told she COMPed my meal, and canceled it cause she "thought" we didn't want it. My wife an I we're starving!! An hour later we just walked put hungry and upset. Someone please explain to your waiters what COMP means. COMPLEMENTARY
Placed an order from Breakwater through Grubhub only to be informed, after waiting for over an hour, that they were apparently too busy to make our food. that's fine if you're too busy for takeout orders, but to wait until the food was supposed to be complete before telling us was horribly unprofessional and left us scrambling for a plan Bthe food on the menu looked like it might be good, but I unfortunately didn't get the chance to try it
We went there for lunch. There were very few people there as it was a little early. My wife ordered a pizza and I a sandwich called the Mafia. My sandwich had a good flavor but was almost all bread with very little meat. It came with chips. My wife's veggie pizza had a lot of veggies, but no seasoning and thus no taste. The problem is that her pizza arrived after I finished my sandwich. My wife went back inside twice to find out where her pizza was and told it would be right out. The lady at the next table went back twice also to find out where her sandwich was. That is when they said my wife's pizza fell through the bottom of the oven and they had to make a second one. They told the lady next to us that the problem was there were only two people working in the kitchen. No one told any of us upfront there would be a long wait for food. Two people in the kitchen, OK, but there were only about 8 people waiting for food, not a big crowd. Why did the bother bringing me my hot sandwich when the knew that my wife's pizza would not be ready for another twenty minutes. Go there for the beer maybe, not for the food
Kendall is a boss. His demeanor and welcoming attitude is worth a trip here. Of course the food and beer is great too. In these crazy times, it's nice to come in and feel like you are at home. Treated like a regular. I'll bring my family here time and time again for good food, beer and great atmosphere.
I luv the atmosphere for its local vibe and for meeting my longtime friends on game day. The pizza is super good and all the IPS’s choices are amazing. My favorite beer is their “Hop Mutiny” hazy IPA. The food is always fresh and made to order.
This is by far one of my favorite spots to grab a bit and a drink at downtown Oceanside. The food is amazing, you will love just about anything you order but my favorite is the BBQ chicken pizza, it's amazing!! I also love the wings, I highly recommend the honey chipotle! The sandwiches are also so good, another recommendation is the mafia or the buffalo chicken ranch. My toddler is picky so I always get her the breadsticks and I add cheese, works every time! The beer selection is amazing, but I highly recommend the Rasbiscus Mead if you like something sweet and strong, it is my go to! They have a ton of seating, you are able to push together tables for large groups, and they have plenty of TVs to watch the game no matter where you sit. Also they have an outside area to sit, perfect if you have your pup with you! The customer service is always amazing and everyone is always so friendly. Big shout out to Kendall ( the kitchen manager ) always making sure everyone is taken care of and that we have everything we need!
