Interesting spot. It was my first time. It’s big inside! And a little rugged/dated.. The avocado burger was great though! So big! And a ton of fries!! I was so full after the burger I had to take the fries to go. Will go back and try the Greek. And the breakfast burrito that the sign claims is the best.
It was my first time at Oceanside, CA and a friend took me to eat at Angelo’s. Food was fantastic and the portions are very generous! The place wasn’t much, but do not let that deceive you! I went to one location the first time I went and another location the 2nd time I went to Oceanside and both locations were awesome. Again, the place could be prettier, but the food is delicious.
The food was incredible. Burgers, Gyros, BLT's, Shakes, Feies, Onion Rings, all done like specialties.!
We got the surfers plate and a cheeseburger. The food portions are very big and the food was good. It definitely wasn’t out of this world delicious but worth trying a local spot. The 4 stars is because on the inside the place is very noticeably run down. The building really needs some maintenance for a more enjoyable dinning experience
Love going there. Everyone is friendly and the food is good with nice sized portions.
Angelo's is an Oceanside institution, and a welcome break from corporate fast food. Portions are huge, and the food is cooked quickly and is uniformly delicious. This won't be your least expensive meal, but it will be one of the best for the money.On this visit, I brought a Troop of Boy Scouts -- and even normally ravenous teenaged boys found that they had too much food to eat.
Been going here since I was a kid. The family is the best. They are all so sweet. The avocado breakfast burrito is my absolute favorite burrito in the entire world (not exaggerating). If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be this. I live out of state now, but always come back to Angelos when I’m in town. 10/10 for experience and food
Dry burger and onion rings not hot. I expected better.
