Family favorite since I was 15, same location. Was our stop before sometimes but always after going surfing, was in love with the fried zucchini and they uses to come in a brown lunch bag. These days we have the pastrami sandwich or have the big breakfast. And can't forget the shake.. they have definitely evolved over the years. Serving beer and espresso, and can always catch a game on the several TVs they have. Sit outside and people watch and feel the nice warm california sun. It's an Iconic location for over 40+yrs.
Order the gyro and 1/4 lb cheeseburger.Rootbeer float- $4Gyro- no lettuce, tons of onions, some tomatoes. overall good size and plenty of meat that was overall decent flavors. Sloppy and we should have asked for sauce on just the side (came with a small cup of sauce also, which tasted okay but we have had better). Missed the lettuce and cucumbers we often find in gyros.it was overpriced also at about $11, meal was i believe $15. The fries it comes with are huge. they were not that crispy which my husband didn't like but I didn't mind as much. real fries too. Unlimited refills on soda.Cheeseburger- good size, a bit sloppy, decent flavor, lots of veggies. Average burger in flavor. $7Root beer float- $4. Good size and tons of ice cream.. but not enough of the actual root beer so we added extra with our soda refill.Friendly staff and easy to get napkins, boxes etc.Might go again but I wouldn't say it was memorable.

Servings are very generous. Prices are fair. Bacon and eggs are very good. Carne asada quesadillas are very good. Service is fair.
Angelo’s is a decent burger joint in Oceanside not far from some really great bars. They have a wide variety of burgers and also serve salads and burritos. Oh, and they’ve got a nice beer selection.The cheeseburger is solid and they serve a large portion of fries. It’s also not too pricey for something that’s quite a bump up from fast food. It’s definitely worth hitting up if you’re in the mood and the area.
Been coming to this Angelo's Burgers, in South Oceanside, on PCH, for 4 years. This is the best of the three Angelo's in Oceanside, by far.Love their burgers, so juicy & good, as well as their fries, which are perfectly crisp & overflowing the basket they're served in! Angelo's home-made ranch dip is so flavorful, & great to dunk their fries, or their delicious fried zucchini in.My wife got me hooked on Angelo's Patty Melt-a grilled burger patty, melted cheese & grilled onions, sandwiched between 2 grilled, golden brown slices of rye bread. Yum!My wife enjoys their milk shakes, & I like having a cold draft beer with my meal. Angelo's has an impressive selection of local craft beers on tap, approximately 15 different ones to choose from.Today for me, it was Latitude 33 Blood Orange IPA.Fast, friendly service here, & the food always comes out piping hot. If you're in a hurry, they have a speedy drive-up window. Great lunch place, which also does breakfast, & dinner.
Angelo's is the best! We drive from San Diego to Oceanside just to eat at Angelo's 3 times per month.
My first time in Oceanside and looking for a "fast food" place to catch a quick bite, near our hotel room. Luckily, there was no Jack near by, and we stumbled onto this gem. The variety on the menu makes it so hard to decide. And the staff (in the evening and morning, as we went back for breakfast the next day) were friendly and attentive. The portions are large and filling. I regret not taking "foodies", but I couldn't wait to start eating!!!!
