Excellent food, great service
Service was lacking. Waiter would disappear for long periods of time.
I never had raw fish before. My server told me about ahi and I decided to give it a go. It was wonderful with a hint of sweet!!! My husband always loves your steaks cooked to perfection!
No worth theâviewâ or the price. Everything took too long. It took about 10 minutes after being seated to even get a glass of water. They brought out the wrong dinner for my wife and then realized and came back to fix it. The waiter said it would be out in 3 minutes but it was much longer. The wine and pineapple cocktail were very good. The watermelon gazpacho and the lobster bisque were also good but our main coursesâpasta with short ribs and homemade pst with assorted vegetables were interesting and not in a good way. The âoutdoorâ space is strange. Itâs closed in and very hot since it is west facing. They have blinds to roll down to help, but then you loose the view. The place was slammed so maybe they are just under staffed. I just donât see the hype. Go to The Lab or Hi/Low OR the Rooftop-much better places.
Our booth was comfortable, and fairly private. The ambiance was lovely. The wait staff couldn't have been more attentive, yet non-intrusive. The appetizer and shareable menu items is creative and above par for a fine restaurant. My husband ordered the filet mignon with the "Oscar" (crab, asparagus and hollandaise) topper and sadly, it didn't come up to his expectations (crab was watery and bland, the steak was not served hot enough, and it was a little past his medium rare preference. He wished he'd order what I did, which was their "14oz Altaire Dry Aged Boneless New York Strip Steak (Tasmania, Wagyu, 100% grass fed, 20-day dry aged, robust nutty flavor, tender yet structured)" Holy Cow, it was delicious. Delicious! Medium rare from one side to the other; cooked sous vide, of course, then seared with Malden flaked salt. I highly recommend it with the exotic mushrooms (only $3.95!). We will go back for that alone! The waitress treated us to a cloud-like Pavlova dessert of lemon-curd cream custard, meringue and strawberries...That'll be a repeat dessert, if it's available, for sure!
As usual the food rocked but we just had a very bad server. From the first drink to dessert, it seemed to be a clusterfu*k, but just for our server. We'll come back but will be much pickier about our server.

Excellent service, exceptional food! The salmon was tasty and a generous portion. The filet trio was quite tasty.
We loved our dinner there! Service was amazing, food and drinks were delicious â recommendation for the appetizer special was appreciated. It was so goodâ pretzels with a spicy meat dip. We had steaks which were done just right and desserts. Although it was busy, the staff stayed on top of everything. The only comment I can make is I wish the noise level could be quieter. Will definitely go back again.
Everything was perfect! The food, the service, the view all were amazing! Our server Karen was phenomenal!
