Not bad at all. Xolo Taqueria is what I would call an elevated food truck: they’re serving a quality item but they’re not being presumptuous about it. Don’t let the nearly $5 tacos scare you away either. Tacos come fairly sizable — a good snacking size that’s larger than a street taco. I enjoyed the shrimp and the al pastor taco. They have some creative names and other culturally appropriate menu options too.I can tell that they’re trying to give justice to the culinary traditions of the food as well. I like the sweet bread display on the front counter. The decor is on-brand too: colorful table cloths, standard Mexican plastic chairs, ect. What makes this place ultimately stand out to me is their staffing — you can feel this restaurant supports the roots of the food by employing the Latinx community. Oh, they have beer too, that’s also a plus.

Cute spot near the Fox theater. I recommend grabbing some tacos if you're in a rush before the show, as they prepare serve quickly.Fish tacos were absolute chef's kiss stellar with perfectly crispy batter and some tasty chipotle sauce.Asada and pastor (vampiro) tacos were solid, but not amazing.

I ate here about 10 years ago and still haven’t forgotten about my experience - the burritos are overpriced, small, and don’t hold a candle to the myriad actual taquerias available here in the bay. The flavor of the food is alright, and im sure the quality of ingredients comply with modern upscale dining- it just doesn’t have the “soul” or whatever you want to call it, of a Mexican taqueria - where blue collar folks can afford a delicious, hearty , and non pretentious meal.

Delicious, authentic tacos and burritos of all flavors served at your table or carry out without delay. No frills atmosphere and reasonable prices as to the charm of this long standing Uptown gem.

wow… a fantastic veggi burrito… i asked “can you add eggs?” and they did and they didn’t skimp… it was delicious a the portion was large enough but not too large… yum!

Authentic and delicious. I sat alone at a giant table directly in front of the cooks. They just watched me as I ate the veggie taco they had just prepared. I drank all of their water and used the bathroom. Later that night, I got high.

Love their surf and turf burrito and also their big ranch.

Delicious

This is our 4th time ordering from Xolo and we love it! The shrimp tacos are great, lightly breaded with a nice kick. The soup, Sopa de Lima is my new fave! Salad is very refreshing. Cannot go wrong with guacamole and chip ending with the Mexican wedding cookie! Love, love love!

Holy cow that was good. Excellent Burrito and friendly service. Super relaxing environment with light blue walls. Plenty of seating inside and outside and very conveniently located on Telegraph Street.I ordered the Burrito Pollo Asado and was not disappointed.grilled achiote-marinated chicken thighs, avocado salsa, black beans, rice, cheese, tomatoes, cilantroChicken was well seasoned and not dry at all. Burrito was a good size and not overstuffed. Looking forward to going back when I am in the area. $11.95 for my burrito around 7 pm on a Saturday.
