Very solid food at this downtown Oakland spot. I was in the area for a few days and liked them so much the first time that i went back multiple times over the next few days. Their cobb salad and their first friday tacos were to of the highlights - would definitely recommend and I'll come back next time Im in the area.
Came for tacos and burritos, got asada tacos and surf n turf and chicken & waffles to split between myself and 2 buddies. The food is delicious!!! I will be back, bringing all my friends here!
Fantastic food, friendly staff. We pigged out on the fried chicken + waffles, the nachos with carnitas, and the hot dog. All were amazing, but the fried chicken was the easy winner. How do they make it so flavorful and crispy without any greasiness? So good!
Xingones never cease to amaze me. I go there specifically for the chicken and waffles and because it is a black owned business. They are the one place that has consistently crispy chicken that is also VERY juicy.... Even the breasts.. I think they must be brining their chicken to have it be so juicy. The service is friendly and fast. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. They need to properly salt the shuffle board table, but I won't blame them for that. Go to Xingones. You will not be disappointed

Excellent fried chicken and waffles, solid tacos/burritos, and a fun, sports-bar atmosphere. Takeout was super easy, too.
Good restaurant and full bar. They have at least six TV's to watch whatever you're heart desires. I had the mini tacos and buffalo wings, both were great. They have clean bathrooms and restaurant. The only downside is that the bar doesn't open until one PM.
Favorite tacos in the Bay Area. Special sour cream is so good. The verde salsa is unmatched! We can eat this several times a week!

Impressed so far. I tried the breakfast sandwich with bacon and it was gooooood. So we're the freshly made potato chips (I think they were fresh made...?)It's inside a cool, cozy bar as well and seems like it's a hang out spot for not only folks living in the area, but also workers nearby for after hours drinking.Will be back to try their tacos!
