Dang this food was so so tasty! Takeout only. I had the classic sandwich, but upon trying my friend's order honestly wished I had balled out on El Guapo (though it really is just cheese and chicken so if you want lettuce and some other toppings maybe not the choice for you). I liked the flavor of El Guapo slightly better, but overall was so impressed with this food. I've eaten a lot of chicken sandwiches and this really was one for the books.
I've ordered chicken sandwiches from a lot of Southern California areas, so that's what I'm using as a comparison. Funny enough, not a single one can compete with how amazing HotBoys was. The chicken was the best flavor I had. The spice did not overpower the chicken flavor. The breading was at the right amount to be complimentary to the chicken itself, and the greens as a side were a good pairing. I managed to steal some fries from my friend who ordered them, and even those were super crisp and fresh.This is the best chicken sandwich place I've been to by far, and I will come back every single time that I visit the Bay Area.

Killer sandwich. There's a lot of good chicken sandwiches happening in the bay area right now and this is definitely among the best, if not just straight up the best. I got the Med+ which was very spicy, but not TOO spicy. I do like my food to burn however, so your mileage may vary.The slaw and pickles are excellent and the bun is solid enough to stand up to the sauces while still being soft and buttery. The chicken itself is amazing. All dark thigh meat, which any sane adult will recognize as the proper approach for this sandwich. It's crispy, it's delicious, it's red, what more could you want?? You can opt to pay extra for all white meat, but that option is clearly for the birds ?.I didn't try any of the various sides or the cheese sauce, but i imagine they're also excellent and I'm looking forward to eating them soon.
So my nephew ordered here a couple of weeks ago and I could not get enough of his plate ! The flavors were unique the chicken was great I loved it. so decided to go back and order for myself with my sisters. Our food however was not hot (really fresh). Which was disappointing due to them being in foil containers which hold heat. The Guap fries I ordered were about $12 I also ordered sauce on the side the “money sauce” was .50 and the Ranch was $1. My sister sent her plate back and received a much fresher order however we did not feel like sending all 4 orders back. The order taker was 3/5 . The gentleman packing the food had gloves on however he kept putting his hand in his pockets. Loved the tribute to Breonna Taylor ❤️

Awesome hot chicken sandwich. Very spicy, I usually get mild plus and I love spicy food. Give a good kick without overpowering the flavor. Its Dark meat. Very juicy. Have eaten here probably a dozen times and it's always consistent, great quality and halal
One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever devoured! Ordered the Sando medium+Spicy (??) and the tenders extra spicy to test the heat (with Mac). Sandwich held its juiciness until the last bite and the spice was perfect. Tenders are just as good…as you add spice the batter does become more crispy and still delicious and the mac was an awesome side. I’ll be back again this week ?
Without doubt the best chicken sandwich in the area. Love their fries and Mac n cheese as well. I’d say the mild + Is equivalent to most places medium. The medium is REALLY spicy. Order ahead online and plan to wait 30 minutes or so. Definitely worth it!
This place has some of the best food I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. The hot chicken sandwich is to die for. It’s bursting with flavor and every single bite is worth savoring. Not to mention, the french fries are awesome. They give you the fries in a big bag and they have excellent spice.This place is a bit expensive, but that’s just the nature of a small business. I promise you will get your money’s worth at this place. Best food ever.
