Our first "post-Covid" visit to Wood Tavern will certainly not be our last! As outstanding as always.
We tried their 2 salads on their menu, and both are excellent not oily and dressing is not too overwhelming. Halibut and pork chop were freshly cooked. The place is small and noisy. Tables are very close together. Waiter would have his butt against you while serving next tables. I found this quite annoying. Service is not great and need improvement!!
Our anniversary dinner was perfect. Loved the unfussy dinjng environment with the truly delicious food.

I love this wood Tavern and I'll shout it to the world! The Pork Chop is my go to meal, but to add variety to my life I've had the Ribeye 4.5 stars, chicken 5 stars, Pork Chop is 6 stars out of 5, it is truly that wonderful. I think it's the Masula sauce. The service is always great and the staff could not be nicer. The menu is constantly changing so your favorite salad may be there this week and gone the next for something new. I think they call that keeping it FRESH. If you haven't tried it, I would whole heartedly recommend it every day of the week.
It was very noisy and the lunch menu was limited. Service was lovely and it's in a convenient location. My friend has hearing issues and so I won't eat there again when I dine with her.
