Vulcan Thai truly deserves the highest rating possible because of its friendly owners and its top notch food! I felt like I was in Thailand again being able to practice some Thai with the nice owners who lived in Thailand and recommended their specials. If you are looking for a hidden gem, then this is your place!I ordered Pad Thai with duck, and the Special #2 (fried fish Thai style).
Not good food. I got green curry and it was thin and tasted smokey and the vegetables were not fresh but had an almost bad taste.
Food was okay but we asked for not spicy and it was. Also, we got there and when the food was supposed to be ready and they hadn't started it yet. Disappointing experience but the food was okay.
Holy OMG! The Vulcan is STILL here serving up Thai food in the most unlikely places in a ally way with nothing around. I came here 40 years ago and it's still here! My fave spicy basil rice is still one the menu.

Never ever been to the Thai Cafe at the Vulcan but I was just there to drop off a big old box of art supplies for my friend lichen on their front door I hope you got them I hope you like them :-)
Microwaved Thai at Safeway tastes better than this. I mean if the owner or cooks ain't Thai that should be a dead give away ;)
This is Pad see ew and egg rolls. Why are the egg rolls black? Why do the noodles taste like dough? I just have to laugh when I eat it. Thanks for feeding me though
not my thing i guess, I have not enjoyed Thai food yet but the price didn't make me want to try again.
Wanted to give this place a try. We tried and we’re moving on…Ordered fried rice/pad Thai/yellow chicken curry.Fried rice and pad Thai, was very bland. The fried rice has no eggs, no sauce and no flavor. Just rice.The pad Thai was similar. No eggs, no tofu, and nothing more. Just noodles.Like I said, we tried and now it’s time to move on. Good luck with you if you’re planning on ordering here.
