Small dessert spot that’s a great answer to an evening sweet tooth. They have a huge variety of drinks, puddings, and egg puffs. The mango milkshake was delicious (and not too sweet), but the coconut pudding was a little mild for my taste. I will definitely be back to try more!
Great Asian/Chinese dessert place that serves Lady M cakes. They have lots a dessert varieties. And recently they introduced more Asian desserts, like the bingsoo from Korea, and egg waffle from HK. So you will surely find something that suits your sweet tooth. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Great selection of Chinese desserts. I had a mango tofu pudding like dish, very good. My wife had something that was like shave ice. (Maybe called bingsu) But the ice was so fine it was like snow. Delicious!
Super cute dessert place! Great service, they seemed short on staff and our server was working so hard but still did a great job! Both desserts we got were really good, but I was a huge fan of the mango pomelo sago with tofu pudding.
Located in the heart of Oakland's Chinatown, UC Dessert offers an extensive menu of classic Hong Kong style desserts and snacks. On a Sunday afternoon, my friends and I were looking for a snack/dessert before dinnertime and happened upon UC Dessert. There isn't a ton of seating inside the store, so I would keep that in mind just in case you end up coming during their busier hours. I ordered my favorite go-to dessert the mango pomelo sago, while my friend ordered taro balls no. 4 (which comes with tofu pudding, red bean, lotus seed, and taro balls). Their desserts were well made and were exactly what I was looking for in terms of flavor. If you're looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, then I recommend giving UC Dessert a try!
I've never had such desserts before, they were perfect for sharing! The oreo bingsu was really awesome, and the Matcha Lady M was quite good.
Try one of their egg waffles or mango desserts
The fresh cantelope sago had a simple and straightforward taste, perfect when in the mood for something light. The egg puff waffle (with chopped mango and green tea) also had just the right amount of sugar.
Food was as good as it looks! Very delicious. My daughter ate her entire egg puff with icecream and a macaroon. Wasn't able to get a picture of hers but she definitely rated it a 5/5. Will def eat here again next time we visit Oakland
Chinese dessert place, the egg pudding was done tofu style and it was okay.
