Insanely delicious food, everything we ordered was absolutely divine. The garlic soy sauce fried chicken is something of another world, quite possibly the best fried chicken I have ever had
Great selection of Korean foods, my favorites were the army stew and bosam!
Not sure which is better their food or the ambience/decor. They have these little booths for parties of 4 or less in addition to a larger room for bigger parties. It’s a great place for a date, dinner, or late night drinks.I love their yogurts soju drinks. I always order the fried chicken. Their corn cheese and fried squid is amazing. Their side dishes are my favorite. (I miss when they used to add blueberry and apple to the macaroni salad salad though) 10/10 tin and pig is a gem. It is worth crossing the bridge or sitting in traffic. If you’re not looking for super traditional Korean food you won’t be disappointed.
I didn't love the food here. The vibe is great and the booths are nice. But I found all three of the dishes we ordered to be underwhelming. The fried chicken sweet and sour sauce was a little off for my taste, and it wasnt crunchy and juicy as I hoped. The seafood pancake was way too soft, you couldnt even pick it up with chopsticks without it breaking, let alone dip it in the sauce. And the bo ssam was alright, but also a little unbalanced and missing something. In an area with tons of delicious Korean restaurants, and especially for the price, I would not recommend coming here if you're looking for great food. If you want a spot to drink with friends in a cool ambiance, it may be worth it!
I used to love this place. Very authentic food but now I have to give it a less favorable review because I can’t bbq my food any more. They also don’t have the sesame oil salt either. The food is good but bot the same and it was my favorite place.
Food was OK. Pricey spot. Only ate there cause the wings were supposed to be really good.
My go to spot for late night korean comfort foods. My last visit, i had garlic fries, sweet & spicy fried chicken, corn cheese, spicy pork bulgogi, bulgogi, kimchi stew, and seafood soybean paste stew. Apparently they are not doing any table grill currently though. My favourite were garlic fries and kimchi stew.
Dined there Friday night. Place has a nice atmosphere and the workers are nice, but for the amount we paid it was disappointing. I don't know if they thought we were ignorant or what, but to not be given any banchan was not worth the price. For some reason the table with Korean diners across from us that just ordered fried chicken got it. Maybe we had to ask for it, but that's never been the case at other restaurants. The confusion came from it being called a gastro pub and some of their dishes on the menu stating that they serve certain amount of people. I asked just to make sure it was family style and they said no, each dish was "individual," flat out lie. Whatever money they saved on not serving banchan they lost on us never returning. The food was also not anything special either. The bar under Gogi has way way better fried chicken.
Food was honestly amazing for someone who never had anything like this before. Staff was friendly, service was rather quick for the most part. Recommend the fried chicken, it was honestly eye opening. However, don't be afraid to try the ramen with rice cake dish, I can't remember exactly what it was, but nonetheless really good.
Sooo delicious! Just as I dreamed it would be! Cute authentic Korean cubicles. They deserve to be in a more hip area where they would get bombarded with attention!
