Thyda is the best! This place has a small town coffee shop feel. You can pop in and feel welcomed, or stay and sit inside or out while enjoying the friendliness of the owner and her customers. Great food options all made by Thyda and family to order. She’s doing good things here and it’s a great stop for parents as well, since it’s right next to the school.
Lovely little coffee shop. Please remember to support your local businesses, skip the larger coffee chains and go get a cup of joe at this lovely shop ☕️ I got an iced oat latte prepared to perfection, their staff is super sweet also! Great pastries and sandwiches as well.
Hub within the community! Tyda, the owner, is wam, welcoming and always able to handle any number of requests. And yes, her toasted turkey Swiss sandwiches with everyone are indeed great.

I've stopped at this place twice since I've been in Oakland, first with my brother and then my boyfriend. The owner has been so sweet and kind, she makes all customers feel warm and welcome. Talking with her is like catching up with an old friend. The food and drinks are delicious, and they're made right in front of the customers. The owner puts a lot of love and care into her shop. It's so quaint and beautiful. If I lived in Oakland, I'd be stopping there for food everyday.
