My brother brought me to The Saint Sandwich Shop and I'm so glad he did. The sandwiches are delicious. We got the special and The Beast and shared. The servings are very generous, we both left with to go boxes. You can pick your bread, protein etc however we stuck with the ingredients listed and were very impressed with the taste. You can tell they use quality ingredients.The inside of the place is so awesome. I love the style; dark walls with wood accents. There is seating inside and out.The best part is that it's in my neighborhood! I will definitely be back.
My first time checking out The Saint. I will definitely make this apart of my weekend no cooking routine. We ordered 4 sandwiches, 4 cookies, a bag of chips and a juicy hazy IPA. Awesome experience from the time I entered. Super friendly staff and sandwiches were made to perfection.
Came in today after closing time searching for a cookie and the worker In The shop hooked me up. We’ve been in before and had some great sandwiches but when it’s a long day and you come through with the cookie hook up you’ve won me over. Looking forward to grabbing some sandwiches soon.
After flying into Oakland from San Diego we stopped for lunch and ordered "The Bird" sandwich. It was enormous, like a good deli sandwich, too big to get your mouth around. It was yummy and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Oakland.
I’ve finally found a GREAT sandwich shop in Oaktown!!! Very friendly, attentive, and awesome sandwiches. “A must try!!”
WHOAH! For any vegan/plant curious folks out there, the Saint Francis is THE BOMB. ? also, the inside is super cute. A couple of outdoor tables as well. Wish I hadn’t ordered to go, I didn’t realize the space would be so inviting! A real gem on this side of Oakland ?
Awesome sandwiches. Big enough for two meals. Friendly staff, nice vibe. The Saint sandwich is the only one I have tried, because I am addicted to it, but the other selections sound great. Highly recommended!
It's clear the people who created this shop love sandwiches. Every ingredient is thoughtful and tasty. Good textures and balance. Had the Bird and Dimond.
Heard this place opened and was a bit skeptical because I felt the prices were a little high for sandwiches. But I got take out for lunch one day anyway. My sandwich was delicious!! Perfect combination of ingredients and they put a ton of meat on it, so I only ate half and was stuffed all the way through dinner. Had the other half for lunch the next day and it was still great and the bread wasn’t soggy. I ordered The Bay sandwich and usually I don’t eat Mayo or aioli, but I did this time, and was glad I did. Will definitely be back here when I’m craving a good, filling sandwich.
