When I visit from out of town we always make a stop at the Avenue. It's my friends favorite bar. It's a dive but I'll be honest I like divey bars. Cold beer on tap and good drinks. Cheers.

I live fairly close so I have frequented this place at times.Patrons are usually friendly and entertaining.Bar staff are friendly and efficient.There's usually a wait on the pool table, but the wait isn't that long.If you like good friendly neighborhood environments.this is the place for you!
The avenue is a Telegraph staple and an excellent dive bar. The drinks are simple but strong. Crowd is friendly but just a hair rowdier than a typical bar in this area and that's not a bad thing.
Great place. Bartender was so cool and hardworking. Bar is clean and feels like Halloween. love the lighting...oh and the bathroom.....
Just recently went here and kinda upset I haven’t been here before. I love the skeleton chandeliers. This place is awsome to grab a drink with some friends. Some cool games in the back too.
Love this place the atmosphere and the people who come in are locals that I have met over the years . The bartenders are great and remember what your drink choice is.
Cool and chill place to hang out and have a drink! This place got some character and a pretty cool collection of skateboards from Ray Barbie, Lance Mountain, etc.
