I have eaten here probably 6 times over the past 2 months. The food is good and consistent and the people who work here are super friendly. I usually sit on the patio during breakfast time. Highly recommend for a casual breakfast or lunch.
Split is a staple - I used to frequent the FiDi location and was excited that they moved into my neighborhood. Always extremely solid for dine in (especially for brunch) and delivery has always been terrific, too. Would absolutely recommend the chicken and waffles. The syrup has a great kick to it.
Like most said here, very polite/friendly staff. A little disappointed that I asked for avocado on my breakfast sandwich and didn’t get it. (I didn’t pay for that so not end of world, but it was definitely the first thing I said). So goes in line with things being missed on orders. Sandwich fine. Pretty bland. Great size. I fell like if a sauce was standard on that sandwich it would be pretty amazing.
I used it for lunch. Most people ordered burgers or sandwiches. The price is set slightly higher. The inside of the store is spacious and has an open atmosphere. There is also a bar counter where you can enjoy alcohol.
I've ordered take away from here twice since they opened, and both times I got home to find the order was wrong. This time they forgot the top part of the bun on my chicken sandwich, which is a really careless mistake. Don't think I'll be back.
Great brunch after a workout. They have healthy options as well as savory fried options for those with a strong heart and resistance to fatty foods.
Cucumber ginger mule drink was the best thing on the menu. Chicken seems to be cooked earlier in the day and then reheated as the meat was tough. I got the 'Cado because I love avocado and was disappointed by the lack of avocado. Based on the description, it should have more. Not having enough didn't balance the goat cheese. Split Fries were good. But don't think I would go back just for a drink and fries unless I had something else to do in the neighborhood. Very, very friendly staff was a plus.
They have vegetarian options! I got their fried cauliflower sandwich which was pretty good :)
Lived across the street for a few years and had been underwhelmed with the walkable food choices in the area. I have been happy with Split's opening! Food whether its takeout or eat in is always prompt, customer service is excellent and I think the food quality is above average in comparison to similar restaurants within walking distance.
The staff was very friendly. With that said, I ordered the chicken tenders for my first visit and they came out extremely flat like hockey pucks which equal them becoming easily overcooked. They were so hard and chewy like jerky. I said to my friend I would have rather gotten to grocery outlet and got frozen chicken tenders. And my friend got the waffle with eggs and they only gave her three quarters of a waffle. LOL
