The wraps are delicious
95/100: I loved Shawarmaji. They have the flavor season, authentic taste and it is good. I tried the Chicken and the Lamb/Beef Sarookh which I will strongly recommend. Also, we give it a try to their tahini and tabbouleh salads. Theirs are the best (from multiple other "Middle Eastern" eateries nearby). Modest choice for drinks, not cold enough to me, but still good.I will just add a small sample of garlic sauce, tomato sauce, tahini sauce or laban yoghurt sauce. They have a free spicy sauce.Go here for a quick lunch with family, friends or coworkers.
Casual eatery, friendly vibes, accessible menu. I ordered the loaded fries - and man are they loaded- feeds a party of 3 or more. Generous heaping of protein, pickles and sauce - the fries were incredibly crunchy! They are on the salty side and the protein was fairly dry - helps the fries stay crunchy.
A bit too pricey for what is provided. For the price of the wrap I'd expect at least one side or the wrap to be more stuffed.Anyway tried a couple of wraps and they're good although they're on the spicy side but much better shawarma wraps than what you find elsewhere.
That Arabi style shwarma makes you wanna get to first base with it. And, not the french style but the Arabi style. Ah habibi ;)Ridiculously clean place with a friendly owner, serving by far the best shwarma I have ever had in the bay area.
Really enjoyed the shawarma here! Highly recommend you stop in! The chicken or the beef/lamb can't beat it!!
Second time visiting Sawarmaji. First time was in different location. We like this location better. More seats, sky window and nice open space. Food are great as I remember. Love their fries & garlic sauce! Must have!
I found a new sandwich to crave. The falafel sandwich is so good and the addition of mint and tahini salad in it...*chef kiss* I happen to order it with eggplant and fries in it. No regrets. We also got the Arabi style chicken shawarma, which was so delicious and well spiced. Loved how the wrap was crisped and cut into 8 pieces. Sharwarmaji is now in the permanent rotation.
Over price and over hyped and over-seasoned food. If you know anything about shawarma(Iraqi, Syrian, Turkish or Jordanian) most likely you won't like the food. The garlic sauce is too strong nothing but garlic. Makes all the taste go away you end up only tasting the seasoning of the food. Come on $13 for a shawarma wrap... this crazy.
This was the best shawarma that I’ve had in North America period… I’ve eaten enough to know good and bad and this is as close to Jordanian shawarma as I’ve ever had. This place is a gem the owner is a champ. I loved the food. Only one item I wish they had was mastic iced cream and that would round off the perfect meal. But the rice pudding was fantastic as well. I really enjoyed… make sure you get the garlic sauce and smother it over everything!!
