Holy cats, I look forward to returning here. Excellent cocktails, pleasant outdoor space, great service, and great food! My wife enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and I adored the shrimp and grits. The best shrimp and grits I've had!

Shakewell never disappoints. Ordered out here countless times during the pandemic. Eating in is definitely the way to go though. Chicken and Churros is my go to dish.

A fine meal, tasty service was great. However its not up to the high standard they normally present nor that we had had previously. The jamon croquettes had an imperceptible quantity of jamon and were fill with a bean(?) paste which was not really all that appetizing. 2 of the 3 of us decided to see what came next. Grilled asparagus was on point, nice inclusion of some mildly spicy pickled peppers gave the dish some zing. Beet salad was tasty except for the beets. The beets were boiled and had the taste which you get with canned beets. If they had roasted the beets this would have been a very solid dish. Guys, roast the beets hasselback style and serve then on a plate with the same arugula and dressing. Sea Bass was overcooked and dry. I doubt Jen would have let this dish out of the kitchen if she had seen it. Churros are darn good, not your state fair churros. However, its a piece of friend bread and gets to be a bit cloying with the mexican chocolate sauce it is served with. Smaller portion and some berries or something to add some contrast and as palate cleaners would be welcome. Mixed drinks were delicious. Service was friendly.

Shakewell is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. The restaurant has phenomenal vibes, insane cocktails and unbelievable fried chicken.Bring your appetite when you go because you won't want to miss out on the croquettes or olives. When you're ready for the main, the fried chicken will rock your world. It's a heaping portion, accompanied by a delightful yogurt sauce. They also have a churros and chicken combo that I'm 100% getting next time.I had the churros for dessert. They were light and fluffy, doused in cinnamon sugar and served with a decadent chocolate sauce. You've gotta check out Shakewell.

It's nice they're getting back to being own of the local favorites for brunch. Just the other day shrimp and grits - one of their most popular and tasty dishes - was on the menu for brunch and it's still super enjoyable like in the before times.Good cocktails, sweet service and a cool ambiance still make this place welcoming. The outdoor dining is cute and comfortable in good weather. This place is a local gem.

I dream about the jamon croquetas! All the other dishes are also delicious, well made with balanced flavors and fresh. Love the outdoor seating and friendly staff, as well. The outdoor seating area is also dog and kid friendly.

Delicious! The Gulf Shrimp and Chicken Paella was amazing. The broccolini was way better than I thought it could be. We will be back.

Delicious Spanish and Mediterranean inspired food with a Northern California fresh twist. Every dish had its own unique delicious flavors. We especially enjoyed using the Toast ordering system-easy to navigate and easy to pay.

While a 5* rating, not obvious why.We stopped by early and happened upon the happy hour.We ordered via the app after chatting with a server.45mins later, we puzzled about the oysters, while enjoying drinks and Flatbread. We asked, and the server, owners apologized for the lost order, and complimented the bill. Our impression went curious-bad-good.It has a nice vibe, we would stop back.

Delicious! We had shakshuka and shrimp&grits and churros from the Saturday brunch menu. Will definitely return, best restaurant experience in years. Owner Tim was so kind, I felt like an old friend.
