Been here a few times and never dissapoint with the food . The cashier is nice and helpful . My favorite Senor Sisig Burrito and Senor California Burrito . The only thing stops me from coming here more often is the price . A senor california burrito costs $15 before tax. There is plenty of seats in front of the shop.
One of the best burritos I ever had. Its so special and unique as it stands out from other burrito places. And the place is so chill I really like the vibe and the music they always playing.I'm looking forward to trying some of their other stuff.
Solid spot for lunch. The menu is simple - focusing on burritos, rice bowls, and salad bowls. You can choose your meat (chicken, pork etc) and choose your spice level. The service is quick and efficient too. I had the chicken rice bowl with medium spice and it was excellent for lunch
I enjoy this pilipino Mexican fusion. Very good. masarap! A little expensive for a burrito but because it's unique it's kinda worth the slight premium $. Some might be surprised since burritos tend to be savory but quite often pilipino switch things up to more sweet, like toncino. For example pilipino spaghetti is sweet, check out Jollibee. I even had nachos in the PI and the cheese sauce was sweet! So don't be surprised if the burrito is not the same as Mexican. And try the one with French fries in it!
Best California burrito ever. I first had Senor Sisig many years ago at a food truck before they had a spot in Oakland. I never once forgot that burrito. It haunted me for years. I thought I would see the truck out of the corner of my eye to only turn and be disappointed. Their location in Oakland has saved me from the torture.
Pork burrito was fantastic. Customer service was amazing. Portion size was large but maybe not a value for $15. No lines on A Saturday lunch.
Their online options don’t provide vegan delivery. The website only shows vegan options for pickup and their 3rd-party services like Postmates, UberEats, etc. don’t provide the vegan menu. Was going to order vegan food for our whole department, but they don’t provide delivery, so had to cancel our huge order. Big waste of time and disappointment to everyone.
This location is nothing like S.F. spot where food is piping hot. Burrito is assembled in steam table fqshion and lukewarm at best. We ordered 4 burritos @ 5p, all room temp after peeling back 2 layers of foil, not appealing when noshing down on stale fries on a Cali Sisig burrito. Next time will skip Oakland store and head to S.F. when craving Filipino burritos!
*Señor sisig burrito - delicious*California sisig burrito - incredibleAmazing to see a separate vegan menu but would be great to see this menu go fully vegan someday!
I was recommended the senor sisig burrito (rice) with pork. I also got the ube horchata in 16oz. The burrito was very good and the vinegar-like sauce went well with it; despite having tomatoes and lettuce the acidity of it did brighten up the burrito. I asked the nice lady behind the counter what made the horchata purple, but she couldn't explain what the "Filipino jam" was made from. The horchata was good but the "best buy" date was the day after my order. Quite impressed by this place
