If you’re ever in the area it’s a must you dine here, the Calamari was amazing!!!! The cocktails are stout, the atmosphere pleasant and the staff was amazing!
Lovely atmosphere, idyllic setting, excellent service....but mediocre food! Noting the upscale prices, we were expecting stellar-tasting food. I like the way I prepare fish at home more than what we experienced at Scott's. The plating was beautiful but two of the entrees ordered were not completely eaten. Having dined all over the world, we realized that the fish and chips were the worst we have ever been served. We wanted to like this place but were saddened to experience an expensive but non-memorable meal. We will not return and recommend that you find another location to savor at Jack London Square.
I had a great experience at Scott's Seafood Restaurant. I dined in with some friends to celebrate a promotion with my colleague, Angela. We had the salmon with baby carrots and mashed potatoes also hamburger with bacon and cheese served with their famous fries sitting and watching the ships go by beautiful view of the Bay. My colleague brought her young daughter unfortunately they did not have a child's menu available or was not offered but I still give them a 5 because my food was really good.
5/30/22 4p* Scott’s Seafood Jack London Square Beautifully decorated interior Next to boat Tasty house bread Avocado and crab salads were tasty Clam chowder was delicious The linguini with clams was served with a creamy sauce; totally fabulous The bananas foster bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was the best Good macchiato Food service was okay Fantastic wines that complement the seafood RECOMMEND FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS
Nice spot on the water. Huge restaurant and catering space ensures you won’t wait too long. Food is a throw back to an upscale ‘80’s wedding: a protein, some mashed potatoes, and a veggie medley.
Sunday evening dinner got off to to a great start. Wait staff was very attentive. Pleasant atmosphere and cuisine that was satisfactory if not exciting. The reason for the two stars is that our waitperson disappeared for 30 minutes at the end of the meal. Dropped off dessert menus and then literally dropped out of sight. We finally gave up and someone from our party hunted her down and paid the bill. Very disappointed to be treated so shabbily by such a pricey establishment.
The service left a lot to be desired, one waitress for at least 6 tables. Brunch is supposed to come with beignets but they never came so we had to ask for them and they told us they'd already brought them out when they hadn't. When they arrived they were undercooked and doughy. The food was generally mediocre. I might be interested to try their prime rib dinner on Sunday and hope there is more staff available but I wouldn't go back for brunch again.
The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. We were sat immediately on a Sunday around brunch time. The Salmon was the best I've had since Atlanta.
The waiter spilled half my drink on the table, my friend didn’t get her steak how she asked , it was very thin an dry, the lobster was super small portioned, the spinach was nasty. The seafood wasn’t big enough for the price of the plate they were asking for.. the salmon cake wasn’t all that delightful
The double cut pork chop is a must to have. The risotto was creamy and well seasoned
