My favorite Thai spot in my area. Been going here since I was a child. Great atmosphere, the owners are great, food is awesome. Best baked fish ever, clean, fresh & tasty. Always felt this place is underrated. But I can tell you for a fact food is ordered and picked up by doctors & nurses from Alta bates all the time. Good prices too. Love love love ❤️ ? ?

It was my first time here and the food was delicious.I ordered the chicken pumpkin curry and I didn’t even have to wait for the clock to hit twelve either. If you’re a fan of curry then you’ll love the pumpkin

I had been going to Saysetha for a long time when I went to school in Berkeley. The food tastes just like home in Thailand. I just came back to visit the bay recently and visited the restaurant. The food still tastes awesome. The owner has been there for 36 years and he’s still cooking. The price is also awesome! I highly recommended!

The best Thai food in the east bay. I love Papaya salad, panang curry, the fried fish with sweet chili sauce, the garlic noodles. I recently ordered the catering. Good prices, and everyone complimented about the food.Dont forget to try the sticky rice with the mango! So yummy

We were looking for a late afternoon lunch and came across this Thai restaurant. It seemed to be popular with locals. But, the food was just average. The vegetarian curry consisted of frozen vegetables.

Solid Thai spot! The menu pictures on the maps listing is accurate just fyi for being 3 years old. They clearly know what they're doing!

Food is great. My go to is string bean beef with mushrooms. So tasty. Staff is great

My favorite food spot in the Bay Area! Staff is so incredibly respectful and honest. I always feel welcome eating here. The food is immaculate and authentic and the atmosphere here is very calm and peaceful. Staff is super responsive to waiting tables. Today ate here with family and we made a mistake on the bill and paid $50 extra, the staff was so honest that they brought it to our attention so that we could correct it.This place will always have my business!

Have been going to this place for over 20 years and it has always been sooooo good. The owners are genuinely kind and care about their patrons. The food is one of the best in the east bay!

Our dinner was a true delight! The owner was so sweet and really took care of us! We were so busy devouring the food (also because we were hungry) that I forgot to take photos! Let's get down to it, we ordered:1. Krispy wings (really freaking good, came out piping hot, crispy but with a thick sweet sauce)2. Basil chicken (probably the least exciting thing we ordered. This was the one average dish)3. Pineapple fried rice (instead of the classic chicken my brother gets, we tried something a little different. Was an interesting twist and would try again). Normally though, I forego fried rise for brown rice and a vegetable dish, so I'm not a fried rice connoisseur4. Saysetha suki noodles. Usually order pad see Ew or pad see Mao, but this sounded unique. Honestly, love the peanut sauce in these noodles.5. Green curry with pork. A little thinner than I've had but still great. Healthy serving of meat in this dish6. Deep fried fish fillet. Normally would stay away from this much fried food but our table wanted to try it! Even though it was covered in a minced garlic sauce, the fish stayed decently crispy through the end of the mealOverall, great flavor. It wasn't super spicy in terms of pepper heat, but they had a slew of hot sauces available upon request. Honestly, we didn't even use hot sauce til the end of the meal. Would definitely go again, seemed like a lot of folks who came in while we were seated were regulars! Always a great feeling to find a place like that!
