Food tastes good, but the area is not safe. I did not care much when my colleagues say this area is not good. But I realized after this. 4 guys came in gray BMW with masks on and break into my car just to take a peek inside the car.Restaurant people should do something. This is a third car in my company, happened literally in the middle of the lunch. After all this, the response from the restaurant owner is "This is happening everywhere"

Royal kitchen is a place you can eat in or take out. Very friendly owner, and super tasty food. Stop by and say hi to Henry the Owner. ??Tell him Robert said to stop by for lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with Royal kitchen.

I had my dinner at this nice restaurant, because since long time I was looking for an Indian restaurant, because of Paner Teka karay oh my god it was really great and testy I love I fell like I visit again from Dehli India I am strongly interested and recommend to eat paner Tika Karay .

The food was fine, not particularly spiced but good flavor. The garlic naan was awesome! I am very disappointed that rice wasn't served with the entrée. Isn't that just part of the meal? I got takeout and was not going back for rice nor was I going to cook some and let the rest of my meal get cold. Led to a disappointing experience, they could have at least told me that it the entrees come without rice, I would have either ordered some or ordered from somewhere else.

Really amazing food. Best Indian food I’ve had in years. Like other reviewers, I don’t like the change to paying extra for rice.

I have been a regular to Royal Kitchen during my visit to California for mainly 3 reasons - 1. The food is amazingly tasty and feels almost home like. 2. Harry is one of the nicest owners that I have come to know. 3. My mother wouldnt try any other joints after a dinner at Royal on the very first day.Under new mangement now, I would highly recommend the place for a good dinner after a long day. Thank you Royal Kitchen and Harry for ensuring I don't have to worry about food.

I ordered chicken butter came in a small 160z looking container bowl. I thought it was way too pricey. There was nothing unique about the taste it taste like chicken masala or some other chicken dish that I've had before. I ordered lamb curry same size way too pricey and it was alright wasn't nothing unique about the taste. The mixed vegetables again way too pricey, it taste alright. The naam garlic bread was a little too bland for me, it was tough and chewy. I paid $55 for what? I am not please at all, Royal Kitchen is very scimpy with portions and way too pricey.

I had a horrible experience at Royal Kitchen this afternoon which I thought, I should share in this forum. While I was ordering, I asked a question about an item in the menu. The lady in the front desk said" You are an Indian and you should know this" and basically accused by integrity and honestly. I did not know the item because I'm from south of India. Instead of answering the question, she want me to buy something or leave the store.. Most part I was polite and referred her with "Mam". I don't know what triggered her to assume that I should know all the items in the menu or she want to refuse service to a South India or she doesn't know the details behind the item in the menu... It just bothered me because this whole escalation happened when I said "I'm south of India".

I had the palak paneer. It was ok but wouldn’t die for it. Paneer they use is a bit different from the one I’m used to get. Seasoning is very light… 3* is fair, good but not awesome.

I have ordered from Royal kitchen many times along with many other Indian places because they are my family's go to takeout treat. I ordered a large order (over 70 dollars) of food and after waiting 20 minutes past the hour delivery time, were talking an 80 minute wait, and we are ready to dive in when we see there is no rice in the bag... how in the heck am I supposed to eat curry and sagg paneer without rice?I called to see if it was forgotten and I was told they stopped including rice with meals over 6 months ago, which is fine, I understand that. but why not make it clear to patrons that they need to purchase said rice so issues like this doesn't happen. I asked what was I to do now and the woman on the phone tells me, "its not my problem" then proceeds to hang up.Will not be returning to this establishment. What terrible customer service.
