I am going to get food here whenever I see this fantastic food truck (and make some special trips to find it too!!)I stumbled upon the food truck just days after I returned from Egypt where I experienced amazing food and even better hospitality from the friendly people. Chef Elmy from Royal Egyptian Cuisine mirrors that excellence...and then makes it even more special! His cooking is a tremendous combination of traditional Egyptian cuisine and the abundance of California produce.Don't be fooled by the humble menu sign that might list just several options like gyro, falafel, shawarma, and hawawshi. After I ordered a falafel, I was handed an extremely delicious fried ball of spicy, savory goodness. I think it may have been an extra piece from the overflowing plate that was fried up for a little girl whose mom came up to express how much the girl loved them! Or maybe it was an appetizer that anyone would have gotten since shortly after, I was handed a bowl of the best bean salad with greens, herb feta, and mango dressing!As I was enjoying the delicious salad (and starting to get a little full) I decided to order some more food to bring back to my friends since it was so good. I asked for a gyro and shawarma, chatted a little about my recent trip to Egypt and when I couldn't decide between bringing back a wrap or a plate, Chef Elmy said, "ok, I'll spoil you". And my goodness! Was I spoiled! Check out the photo of what they ended up giving me. A whole catering tray of HUGE delicious wraps and a couple side dishes! Everything was soooo flavorful, even the pickled cabbage on the side! I can't recommend them enough...the price was also impossibly low. I almost felt bad taking the tray after being charged so little but I'll pay it back with each return trip I make!I've heard the best way to find out where they will be is to follow them on Twitter! Go for it so you can try this AMAZING FOOD!!!
At the moment you come to this restaurant they give you an agreeable feeling. Very friendly team, it is a good restaurant to pass time with friends or with your date. Excellent food, professional chef de cuisine, decent cost and excellent service. Warmly recommended.
I had the best shwarma of my life here. Every bit of the food was just so amazing and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend any food served here.
Absolutely delicious food prepared by a magician. Strongly recommend to anyone who likes to eat tasty food at reasonable prices!

Chef Elmy is the greatest! The food was some of the best I’ve had, I ordered the Kofta and afterward he came out to inspect everyone’s plates to make sure we had finished our meals! Salad, dolma, and lentils were included on the side (among other goodies) and were just as fantastic as the main course.Chef Elmy’s cooking and personality were a perfect combination, and I’ll definitely be back in the future.
