We've gotta stop here for breakfast, dad, said my son, as he was driving me to SFO.But we'll never make my plane, I came back.Looking askance as he said this, we sat outside, Alex relaxed and me up right.Very interesting breakfast menu. Delicious omelettes, superb coffee.And I made my plane.
Limited seating outside. We qere6able to get table at 10:30am, right as we arrived. Food was okay, but I was disappointed in my grilled cheese sandwich, as they only had medium cheddar, no sharp. Settled for pepper jack. Good service, but my coffee was served with a long hair dangling on the side & into the coffee. It was immediately attended to. We stayed 2 hours, as I'd not seen my friend since 2018. Tipped our waitress $20, as I felt we rented the table for a $32 brunch tab.
This place was recommanded to us by locals. We came for breakfast and were disappointed Hash brown potatoes were not cooked enough still crunchy Bacon was near burnt We mentionned about the potatoes the waitress said she will bring new ones but they were never served. And this for excessive price nearly 50 $ for 2 eggs and bacon, french toast, cappucino and a chocolate.
It was okay, nothing special. Had a Beyond burger and fries for $20.00.. Walked past Crepevine after and realized they know a breakfast plate! I suggest maybe a pretzel bun and better portions.

There are only two breakfast spots in Oakland that I regularly go to and RC is one of them. RC has a classic dinner feel and menu with a few real standout dishes. Firstly, the bacon is amazing, better than just about any other bacon you're going to get it at a diner. Secondly, the stuffed French toast---not to mention the ricotta pancakes---is a must-have. Please don't go here because I need to make sure there's always a table free for me!
A local diner vibe for Oaklanders that’s held it’s own for over a decade despite surrounding restaurants and retail shops coming and going. Their food is typical diner food with higher quality ingredients and a homey vibe if you can get a weekend seat. Cornmeal waffle?! Yea! Migas and Rockridge breakfast are staples.
Food not as good as We remembered from past! Cornbeef Hash was overly pepoered. Coffee was good.
The servers here were so nice. Food was solid but the service was excellent. I had my six month old son with me and everyone went above and beyond to help me out.
