The servers are very friendly. The place itself feels a bit cramped and cold. The Ichiban roll is stellar with lots of hamachi. The chicken udon also good. The pork katsu curry is okay. I wish the katsu is less salty and there is more curry. The tonkatsu looks pretty good. The side salad is quite big.

I am so happy we tried this place! We have been looking for a go to sushi spot and this place is top notch. The quality of the fish is great (which I am SUPER picky about) and the size of the rolls are perfect (not like when places cut the rolls up smaller or roll them to be smaller). Even the maki rolls were big! Good stuff and I can’t wait to go back.

Great food. Nice atmosphere (we sat outside). Friendly service. I loved the Tofu rice bowl, but everything was fresh and tasty.

Good local spot for large special sushi rolls and poke bowls. Delicious and fairly affordable. Back patio space as well.

Solid rolls and other options, we enjoyed the udon and the chicken karage. Nice outdoor area out the back and friendly staff.

Place is just great value and taste. I’ve been to sushi restaurants across the bay and this stands out as one of the best for what it pay. They give generous portions too, which is hard to find. Go here if you looking for a new sushi spot!

I just want to leave a review as an update to their times that they are open-Google will not let them change their listing! They are open from 12:00 to 3:30 for lunch and from 5:00 to 8:30 for dinner!I'm going to go sometime this week for my first time since the pandemic, But this has longstanding been one of my favorites in Oakland for over 5 years.

Fresh fish and good serving sizes. Prices of gone up like most sushi these days. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, though it's been chilly in the back during lunch unless it's a fairly warm day.

Great sushi place. Definitely like the fresh sushi

Good quality and a wide selection of rolls, plus the gyoza were excellent. the crab and avocado hand roll was really delicious as well. Specialty rolls are priced normally (~$15 each), but simpler rolls/maki are a little more than I usually like ($7-$10). All in all though, good food and service, so I'll definitely be back.
