I think this could be the best taqueria in the East Bay. EVERYTHING is really well thought out and delicious, nothing on the menu feels like an afterthought. I also love the packaging they use for to-go orders (huge fan of this place and look forward to eating here more often)!

Outdoor and indoor seating, and it's never empty at any time of day. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes, even during lunch. Watching the cooks prepare everything is fun and interesting. Plenty of options. The chicken in flautas was very dry but maybe it's better suited for a richer meat.

I want to tell you that its horrible so that you stop going and then I don't have to wait so long to get my tacos. But that would be a lie. That place is always hopping, and while now the wait is usually 30+ minutes for an order vs. 10 minutes a year ago, it's still worth it.I love that they have the normal options, like carne asada, shrimp, chicken, etc., but also have less common offerings like cactus and mushroom. I usually end up with an assortment of tacos, while my family usually gets burritos. All of them are great. As an aside, I've fallen in love with the Toast app since I discovered it on Rico Rico's site. Toast has a great interface for ordering and customizing your order, and it makes it really easy for my kid to get a burrito with *only* the small number of ingredients that he wants. No special notes. No calling in. All restaurants should just switch to Toast. And while I have no idea how the Rico Rico folks keep track of all those variations and get all the orders right, they always do.10/10. Definitely recommend. But if you could avoid ordering at the same time as me, that would be appreciated.

The al pastor burrito was quite good. The shrimp and mushroom tacos were ok but nothing special, not my favorite tacos. The horchata was nice. The room was way too loud. I'd get the burrito again but take it to go.

I love the atmosphere of this place, from the cozy seating and inviting decor, to the friendly staff and fun music. The food has been amazing every time and their prices are reasonable. There's indoor and outdoor seating options as well, which is nice. I highly recommend Rico Rico!

Great place, friendly staff and excellent food. The carnitas was the super star for me but the Al pastor, shrimp and fish were all great as well. Portions are more than adequate and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

I order the Al pastor tacos ? I typically get 2. It comes with pineapple ? and you should get a side of hot sauce the red and green. The meat is drenched in a sweet flavor and it melts in your mouth.

Pricey place for sure, 2 burritos and 2 beers was 37.53$But the burritos were very good and came just how we wanted them ? enjoyed sitting outside as well

I never leave reviews, but I’ve been to Rico Rico so many times, I felt I owed them this little effort on my part.I honestly just love this place. I’ve been going once a week/every other week for at least a fee months. No ragrets.I always get a surf n turf burrito (not on the menu, just add shrimp to a carne asada burrito or vice versa) with refried beans, and it is my favorite combo of flavors. Try it.Also, get an agua fresca, they are ALWAYS on point.Yes, sometimes the wait is long, but I will die on the hill that it is worth it. And you get to watch them make the food as you wait. Inner child is satisfied.

So delicious. Got Pescado, nopales, and mushroom. Mushroom was fire. Pescado super good too but could’ve been better w extra sauce. Highly recommend!
