I was driving down international boulevard in Oakland California when a friend requested some shrimp luckily I was in the vicinity a couple of blocks away and made the proper decision to try out Queens Cajun seafood. Thank God we stopped there because the entree that we bought was a shrimp dish and it was pretty good. Everyone should give it a try if you feel like you want some Cajun or if you just hungry
Was initially hesitant to have dinner here with some guests as I thought it was a typical tourist trap. Food and service was great plus we had the best table we could ask for on a Saturday night. Not cheap though.
The blackened catfish was prepared to perfection!
Not happy at all, got the shrimp broil shrimp was over cooked, hard to peel and was mushy, the steam crab was dry and the corn was probably several days old, I live in Antioch so it's not like I can return for a refund
I ordered food from this place, my order of shrimp came with a roach.
I can't say anything about fried alligator. Nuggets like nuggets. :-) But shrimps, for sure wasn't freshly boiled. At least in the morning and warmed up for me. It was hard to peel them and they were tasteless. The same about corn pretty old one, not sweat and hard to chew. 3 stars only for moneyback without any questions.
Horrible...Please stop false advertisement there's nothing Cajun about this restaurant PERIOD! I ordered Garlic Shrimp Noodles that were mediocre and bland And what was suppose to be Serrachi based wings was delivered to me as tasteless no seasoning at all with a large cup of who knows what type of hot sauce on the side...Do the public a favor Close Down!!!
Beware beware don’t order from this place number one horrible customer service secondly they will never answer their phone and thirdly anytime that you order online they always end up canceling the order right when the order should be done. I don’t know what’s up with this place even if they’re still in business but I believe that most of the reviews were from either pre-Covid or it’s friends of their‘s because horrible customer service terrible.
Loved the fried oyster Po-Boy!!
I pass thise place a few nights a week, but have not seen a crowd of more than five customers at one time, now i know why. I decided to patronize Cajun Queen, noticed the prices are sort of high for what was offered on the menu. It was two guys working this night, the one behind the counter did not greet me, or have any dialogue when i asked about the food, it seems as though he was irritated about something. The other guy was more personal and courteous. I ordered the oysters with a side of dirty rice, nice juicy oysters but the rice was dry. It wasn't worth $15.00. and i will not be going back.
