Consistently great Italian-inspired fare made with local ingredients and masterfully coaxed flavors. Also worth mention are the terrific atmosphere of the restaurant's main rooms and back patio. The artful balance of a hip and urban mood, and a warm, family-friendly environment results in a pervasive elevating buzz throughout the restaurant.

My husband and I were planning a small wedding in April and, in searching for a place to have our dinner reception, we found Pizzaiolo. The second we checked it out, we knew it was right. The quality of food at Pizzaiolo is really impressive and they make patio dining feel intimate and fun at the same time. We are so happy with our choice to have them host our reception. Everything was better than expected and the staff was so sweet and welcoming. The vibe was very laid-back but it was the perfect way to celebrate with our close friends and family. Maggie set up the whole thing and she was amazingly helpful, planning the menu and making sure everything was prepared. She was also responsive to all my questions and helped me with various details in the planning process. Thank you to Maggie and everyone at Pizzaiolo for treating us so well and sharing an unforgettable day with us!

Fantastic service and the food was beyond exceptional!!!! Thank you Chef Anthony!!

And I thought it was a pizza joint! The Roast pork chile verde was out of this world and the Sail Out cocktail (s ?) were stiff as homemade. Go eat here and thank me later.

The backyard Patio dining experience was very good. Daily Menu is listed with many choices. The hostess and Servicer were great. I ordered their Chicken dish, and it was the best tasting fried?- chicken I've ever tasted. Their octopus pizza was a little runny~ pepperoni pizza was perfect, and my 5 years old nephew loved the pasta made just for him was good. The kale salad was super good. The Pasta with clams cooked perfectly.

Amazing place, probably the best Italian pizzas in the bay area.

Brunch is a recent addition to pizzaiolo’s repertoire - and it is killer. We had the breakfast salad (I love California cuisine ??) which was so nicely balanced with veggies and egg and breadcrumbs and cheese; the short ribs (tender and juicy and bangin); the fritters (?) and a piquant Avo and citrus salad. Oh and the best bloody I’ve had in the east bay! (Must love anchovies.) also plenty of outdoor seating and great service to boot. Mwuah!

One of the best restaurants in Temescal. Make sure you show up early so you get a table or put your name on the waitlist. Grab a cocktail from the bar and wait in the parklet outside!Indoor dining has great vibes and the open kitchen is so cool. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice on the menu.Start with the creamy burrata and fresh focaccia or the little gems salad. Finish with ANY of their pizzas. They are all immaculate. The crust is what dreams are made of and it's the perfect base for all of their topping options.

Cute and romantic Italian restaurant in temesecal. Went on a Thursday evening with a group of 3. No line!We ordered the rapini pizza with sausage, the prosciutto with arugula pizza, and the pasta bolognese. The pizzas were delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al Dente but the bolognese was very salty. My friend has a high tolerance for salt and even he said this was too salty. Maybe the sauce needed to be diluted more or we just got the end of it.And when it’s night time, they only had small tea light candles for lighting made it really hard to see.

I love this restaurant SO MUCH! I've never had a bad dish, the service is friendly and unflappable, and the vibe is awesome. Ingredients are top-notch, too.
