Purchased an Apricot Pie for my 86 year old father in law as a surprise for Christmas. Everytime we go to a bakery or farmers market he asks if they have an apricot pie... no one ever does. He(we) were so excited to eat it... what an incredible disappointment! It was an apricot pie with a streusel topping - it should have been marketed as a streusel pie with a hint of apricot. We could barely see any apricot - sure couldn’t taste it. It was $54! I feel stupid to spend so much to have a pie delivered but thought my father in law would love it.... Don’t waste your time or $$$! Not a value even if the pie was $9.

Delicious pie! Their custard like lemon pies are out of this world.

Bought 2 pies for the holidays. Grapefruit tart is beautiful, but almost none to none grapefruit flavor. Mostly condense milk flavor. Crumble Apple Rhubarb pie is dry, but less sweet than most apple pie, which is my only position point. For a $30+ pie, I won't be back.

I got a gorgeous strawberry rhubarb pie from the Palo Alto pop up and it was not great. It was gorgeous, yes, but the pie’s lattice top was way too thick, mushy, and tasted like raw dough even though the top was nicely browned. The filling was good, but I would not pay this much for a not-so-fresh pie with scant filling and raw dough. The bottom was undercooked also. I was expecting a buttery, flaky crust. It’s really too bad because the pie was visually stunning. The taste of it reminded me of a Trader Joe’s baked item— not freshly made; slightly stale, and skimpy on the fruit. Probably the worst pie I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of pie! I even looked on the box to see if there were some baking directions I might have missed, but there were none. It was that bad.

I'm normally more into baking pies than eating them, but these pies are incredibly delicious. The folks at Pietisserie consistently produce goods with excellent crusts and tasty fillings.  I highly recommend trying the \\\"raspberry in chocolate\\\" and \\\"black bottom walnut\\\" pies.\\n\\nBe warned that on more than one occasion I've purchased their pies for family events and then somehow consumed the entire pie by myself before the event occurred....

Wow !!! The pumpkin pie with chocolate crust was incredibly good. I love pumpkin pie and this was really special. Just the right amount of spice and the crust was amazing. Who would have thought that pumpkin and chocolate would go together so well. It does !!! The pies are pricey, but so is a great bottle of wine. I'll be ordering another for Thanksgiving. Hope this place becomes a permanent fixture at T and C.

Very creative pie flavors that taste great at any temperature. We loved the purple yam pie and the double chocolate raspberry pie. Can’t wait to try the other flavors like the basket weave strawberry rhubarb pie and chocolate pumpkin pie. I’ve never had chocolate pie crust before but I can tell they use very good chocolate since I myself only use Valrhona chocolate for baking

The Palo Alto store was more like a modern boutique than a bakery. Store staffs (2 elderly guys) were very friendly and recommended me black bottom walnut pie and raspberry chocolate pie. It was so hard to choose from all the beautiful looking pies but I ended up choosing the black bottom walnut pie because I was told it was being made at the moment and I could get a freshly baked one if I wait a bit. When I finally received the pie, I was a bit surprised that I didn’t feel it warm but I didn’t think too much about it. When I cut it to serve, bottom crust looked undercooked and also tested doughy… the other crust wasn’t crispy too. It was more like a stale sugar cookie. Maybe I should bake it myself to eat the rest. But It was disappointing because I love flaky pie crust.

These pies are literally the most delicious, best quality, most beautifully presented pies EVER. In our house, Jaynelle's pies from Pietisserie have replaced cake for all occasions, and we often bring them as host gifts, or holiday gifts. They are a hit every single time - modern, delicious, and nostaglic! There are so many seasonal pies we love - the lemon and lime are my kids' favorite, walnut citrus for my husband, and stone fruit for me - all freaking amazing. And supporting a hardworking local BIPOC woman owned business - Ten Stars!

After seeing the chocolate raspberry pie on one of the Food Network shows (I think it was "The Best Thing I Ever Ate"), I just had to try it. Fortunately, it was available on GoldBelly, and I ordered it right away. Oh my! What an incredible dessert! I'll definitely be ordered it again and again!
