Oakland is trash. But this place makes the effort to not be dirty. Really clean place, you can smell the all the cleaning products used to keep clean above and beyond. Pho like always was great.
Went to lunch with my friends here for some authentic Vietnamese food. The rice dishes and Pho are good. However, the Vietnamese crepe were not crispy but rather oily. I will try something else next time.
Mid pho. Broth lacks depth. Noodles are okay. The garnish is not enough to save this flat flavor profile. You can tell from the scent of the soup that its not going to blow you away.
The bun bo hue wasn't perfect but very good for a general-purpose Vietnamese restaurant. Easy parking. Outdoor tables available. Near the excellent Oakland Museum of California.
Have been coming here since Pho KING were on 5th ave. This is Oakland’s best Vietnamese. The secret is out…its the best hangover cure. The broth is top notch.
We stopped by this place for lunch today and got lucky to beat the rush!Excellent food with large porition and clean environment. We sat outside in the covered patio. I had Vermicelli with Fried Shimp wihch tasted great with fresh ingrediantes. Others had Pho which was also well recieved. Would recommend the place for quick lunch.There is also ample parking around the resturant.
The name makes me laugh but the food was excellent with our group of 4!From the pho to the meat to the rice to the hot tea. All goodWas about 60$ for 4 people as well.
Solely on their spring rolls, not fresh, refrigerated causing the skin roll harden. If an authentic Vietnamese can't serve spring roll fresh, it's a huge bummer. Other items were good.
Good pho, good prices. Great place to grab some food after a walk around the lake
The food is so bomb. Free range chicken Soup is delicious. I highly recommend it. Portions are large and worth it. Also their fried rice is phenomenal. My boyfriend loved it. Got my mom some oxtail soup and she loved it as well. This is the best place for Vietnamese. Also you can dine in. It is very spacious and clean bathrooms are clean. No bums around it’s good.
