I asked a cooking instructor who specializes in Vietnamese food for a recommendation for authentic Vietnamese food in Oakland. Rang Dong was among her top two picks! We've been twice. I ordered Pho the first time and the Tomato Soup the second time. Both soups were excellent! My friend had a clay pot dish with seafood and fish. He also enjoyed his meal very much. The portions are very generous and the staff are extremely friendly. They say "thank you" a lot!

Great place for pho and some other Vietnamese staples. The renovated space is very nice and bright with windows all around. There is a small parking lot associated with the restaurant which makes parking easier.
Very good pho, I was going to the one down the street next to luckys, but one night they were not open on tuesday when I was craving pho. I found this my new neighborhood pho home over that pne because I feel the quality of the brisket is better and more tender. Ive only had the brisket so I cant make a review on any other meat howver th e veggies are always fresh and the broth is always flavorful
Wonderful place to stop for a quick bite. I’ve been visiting this part of Oakland for Vietnamese fare since ~2006, but this was my first time at Pho King. I went for breakfast, so I had the place to myself, but I can imagine it’s not like this all the time. Service was quick and attentive, and the pho was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend Vietnamese coffee.
Very clean great service and amazing Pho' this is our new favorite spot. We will definitely be back!!!
