I just bought Philo Burger and was very disappointed. I selected "medium rare" and I got "Well Done" instead. It was extremely salty and the bun wasn't toasted it tasted cold and doughy. I've ordered the pizzas in the past and loved them. They have a great beer selection. But this bad review is for that horrible burger. Their chef needs to know the difference between cooking temps for a burger. That thing was like a piece of salty leather.
I’m just really disappointed with the lack of service shown to delivery workers. As someone who works hard daily to pay the bills, every time without fail, I show up to the pickup window and am ignored for long stretches of time. I see employees walking by, assisting others, glancing in my direction from time to time. A simple “we will be right with you” can go a long way. I have canceled numerous pickups after being ignored for so long, it no longer makes the pickup worth it. I don’t think I’ll be doing anymore pickups from this restaurant. Being short on staff should never affect good customer service.
This place was great. The area isn’t too bad. Service was great. The place is clean. I would definitely grab a pizza here again. They have some fun flavors. I got the Miss Piggy. Really good pizza. Cool little place.
One of the best brunches in Oakland. We had the cinnamon french toast and shakshuka. Both were delicious, and the service was excellent.

I'm a little late reviewing Philomena but each time it's amazing. Always friendly staff, great selection of beers and kombucha. Also the food is very fresh and flavorful.
I ordered the Murica brunch pizza and the loaded tots with a mimosa bundle. The pizza was tasty but a bit dry. We picked up right when the app said the food would be ready and the pizza was still cold by the time we got home(I live 3 blocks away). The tots were soggy because of the packaging they were In and they did not follow our instructions to get the peppers it comes with on the side. All in all the food was ok but for the price I don't see myself going back for just an ok meal.

Went for brunch and got the Breakfast in Tuscany brunch pizza and Cinnamon Swirl Challah French Toast.Really enjoyed the pizza which had braised kale, mozzarella, Calabrian chilis, and baked egg. We added the mushroom medley which added some nice umami to it.The French Toast wasn't too good. The challah seemed too dense to absorb any of the egg mixture so it was only a coating. I really like when the bread absorbs it and you get a moist custardy interior which didn't happen here. Also the thin egg coating meant when it was cooked, the challah was barely above room temperature.Service was friendly. Nice selection of beers and hard kombucha on draft.Probably a 3.5 star day, but rounding down for the French Toast Fail.
I had the best experience with this movie house. They have friendly and accommodating staff. The place is clean and comfy. The outlet is available for charging while you're watching the movie. The biggest movie house I've been to and the most affordable as well. There's a lot of choices including the new ones. Thank you!
