Gorgeous, rustic space. Well curated meat and cheese board. Excellent assortment of wine. Good service.

A journey to indulgence, best taken with a surrender to discovery

My favorite wine bar period. Best selection of old world natural wines in the US probably. Fun vibe, cool space. Crowd can be kind of vibey and weird but otherwise this place rocks.

Love the eclectic and cozy atmosphere. Great for intimate conversations. Ofc the wine is great all around... the cheese/meat platter is also delish!

A remarkable selection of mostly European and California natural (organic) wines that you won't find any where else in the Bay Area. And a charming bar with wines by the glass. We ordered a cheese plate and I had an incredible sparkling white from the same region in Italy that produces Prosecco. Wow. On a beautiful, warm Saturday in Oakland near Lake Merritt we sat outside and had a mini vacation experience.

Great selection, including local wineries and European references. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It's not too dark inside, and it's mellow enough to get documents signed, which is what I was doing. Bartenders were attentive because there was actually a sufficient bartender to customer ratio so that I never had to wait long for anything. It's not the cheapest happy hour in the city at all, but they have a pretty legit beer selection. Some of the beers, I've only had in other countries / at the World Expo in 2010. I don't think the menu on their website is an exhaustive list.

I've had enough chances to visit this wine shop since we've lived here for a long time, and I've always left feeling more optimistic about life. This is a must-see for everybody!

Perfect place to be! Awesome!

Not sure if I need the entire wine selection to be “natural wine”. I’d prefer the wines to have a wider variety of tasting notes other than vinegar or salad dressing. Also a corkage fee at a wine bar is kinda ridiculous. Isn’t it expected that your customer is going to buy a bottle of wine at a wine bar?
