3rd time having orbit, but second time getting the Messier 51 drink. Would have rated my experience a 5, but my Messier 51 drink was prepared differently thus second time around, and didn't enjoy it as much. It wasn't topped with the ube cheese foam like the first time I had it and like how it is displayed on their website menu. Instead, it looks like the ube foam was put in the bottom and spread around the inside of the cup.I loved sipping the ube foam (it's tasty!) the first time around, and I'm so bummed I wasn't able to this time.
One of my biggest addictions is coffee and I seen so much social media about @orbitcoffeecompany so I drove to Oakland to try it out. For me, the coffee was kinda bland, it was not sweet enough. I don't think they put enough condensed milk. The beignets filled with hazelnut was soft and sweet. I actually enjoyed it. The spicy grilled chicken was good also. I was hoping the coffee was going to be amazing, but it was mediocre to me. I don't think I will be coming back.? Orbit Coffee Company in Oakland, CA.
I loved the beignets. They’re the perfect bite size and get to try three flavors (hazelnut, dark chocolate and white chocolate). I came for breakfast but there were many vegetarian options. The drinks were really good.
I love their beignet! Highly recommend it! So soft and creamy and full of flavor! So delicious. I usually ordered the shooting star it's a good amount of caramel and it does not disappoint! My wife gets her dark matter and always enjoys it! We can't wait to be back.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Had to visit the nearby emergency vet. While waiting, walked to Orbit for a coffee and snack. Ordered a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich. The plusses: staff were friendly and gracious, even though the menu offered didn't line up well with my needs. The minuses:- Nondairy options were only soy or almond, both potential allergens. I can tolerate almond, so requested that.- Sandwiches all include cheese, and they come pre-assembled. Kudos to the staff for clearly describing this to me, and for removing the slice of cheese before warming my sandwich. Thank you.- The cappuccino was scalding hot, definitely hotter than recommended brewing temperature. I wasn't expecting that, so I took a big sip and burnt my tongue. The roast of the beans is also quite dark, it honestly tastes burnt to me. Though of course my taste buds are at lower capacity after getting burnt.- The breakfast sandwich on brioche roll was equivalent to what one might find at a 7-11. Given the high reviews, I was expecting better.Overall pretty mediocre, I wouldn't go back.
That was the sweetest and most sugar infused “coffee” I’ve ever attempted to consume. That was not worth $6, just stick to Peet’s or some Starbucks any day. Before you say well pick a not so sweet option, there is none. Beyond plain black option.
Why would you post on Instagram about having mini donuts available every Saturday and Sunday *16 minutes before* I get here and they say there’s no donuts today. Waste of my time. Went to the other location on 14th, and it was the same deal! Goodbye
I come here for breakfast or a quick afternoon pick me up. It's more a grab and go kind of place. A sitting area outside but not quiet enough to sit and study.I'll be reviewing the things I've ordered for food and drinks. I don't tend to have a sweet tooth, but depending on what you are in the mood for, there is something for everyone.Drinks:My favorite drink from Orbit is the UBE NEBULAE. The ube serves as a sweetener when mixed with the orbit coffee and combined; the drink taste like a refresher with a pick me up. I highly recommend it. If you are looking for something sweeter, I recommend The MESSIER 51. It tastes like a ube nebula but pumped up. I recommend this one if you have a sweet tooth. It is a thicker drink, so it's less of a refreshment since it contains the UBE foam. It allows you to get more flavor with the drink.Food:The SUNRISE SANDWICH reminds me of NYC's bacon, egg, and cheese. It’s less heavy on the belly since they use a toasted brioche bun instead of the bagel. Overall it's fresh, and all the flavors mix well when you take a bite. The BÁNH MÌ BURRITO is one of my favorites too. I tend to get this for lunch. The best way to describe this would be a chicken rice bowl packed into one burrito. Not sure what sauce they use, but all the flavors complement each other. I highly recommend giving this a try. It is a bit spicy( for my low-spice-tolerant people), but it's still enjoyable.BEIGNETS.Try them! I'm not a sweets kind of person, but these are worth ordering. They are filled with three different fillings that all taste good. With just the right amount of sweetness, you'll want the whole thing for yourself. So if you have space in the belly and don't want t share, get your own.
