Best breakfast sandwich in Oakland! I wish they would stay open on weekends, though
Nice little cafe with with assortment of pastries, coffee drinks, and breakfast/lunch options. Also had wifi if you want to do some work but not many tables, just a long counter and a couple outdoor tables. Very friendly staff and they brought out my drink and food quickly!For coffee, definitely a focus on lattes but they have a couple others. For hardcore coffee lovers looking for some pour over options, you won't find it here. But the Black/Brown latte was very delicious.I had the Blueberry Peach tart and it was fantastic. The rest of the pastries look delicious as well. I didn't try any of the other breakfast/lunch options.Overall very cool spot. A tad pricey as a regular latte and a slice of tart was $10.50 but I still really enjoyed it.
Great local cafe. Every sandwhich I’ve gotten has been awesome. The quality here is top notch!
Local place. Hires mothers of color with family friendly hours. House made pastries (that I didn’t try, but looked great). Breakfast sandwich offered three kinds of cheese and two sauces. Pillowy scrambled eggs on a toasted soft roll. Give it a try if you are at Alta Bates Summit (or nearby)!And, they offer both cold brew and a less strong regular iced coffee.

Best food and coffee in the area with the nicest staff ever
Had a delicious latte and turkey, egg ‘n cheese sandwich from here. Will definitely be back! Glad they open early to accommodate teacher schedule!
Great location for the neighborhood. Employees very friendly but the menu didn't seem real appealing. The prices are very high too. I think I had some kind of chai drink it's been a min so I can't fully remember. But it wasn't that good.

The crew was super nice and helpful. The blueberry and peach tart (plus whipped cream) was amazing, as was the breakfast sandwich I had. We went there multiple times to work on their patio, which is spacious. Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Oakland!
