I have to be honest, the pizza was not good. Having had tried pizza from LA to NY, I can say with confidence that this pizza has failed on quite a few categories. The sauce, which was semi nonexistent, was weak and barely left an impression. The cheese on the other hand has flavor, which was the overpowering taste. The crust ranging from slightly burnt bubbly crust to flat and remorseful. It was greasy and unappetizing, would not recommend. Salad was OK.

Great thin crust pizza and much more; Nick’s scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls and bagels are some of the best in Oakland! There’s some outdoor seating and there’s a parking spot for pick-up. And did I mention the delicious sourdough bread, including several varieties, the not-too-sweet hibiscus lime cooler, besides savory pastries and strawberry shortcake for dessert. We are so lucky to have Nick’s in the neighborhood.

Loving the pizzas since the old location.Best when piping hot.

Best pizza in North Oakland, hands down.Ask for their sausage and hot peppers pizza. It'll change your life. FYI you can build this pizza with fresh basil, pork + fennel sausage, pickled cherry peppers, and carmelized onions. If you think it's too spicy, maybe chuck e cheese is more your level

Like Arizmendi pizza but bigger and with meat options. Get the spicy ranch. Delicious. Chill vibes.

A solid pizza pizza place, at a crowded intersection. I've only ever had a slice or two at any given time, but from those experiences I have to say, I'm impressed. If I was hanging out with friends, I would immediately suggest we have lunch at Nick's.I will continue to be a regular customer, and continue to support them, as you should.

One of the (or simply THE) best places in Oakland to go for pizza and pastries. Different pizza options every day (and amazing sourdough crust) and seasonal pastries (their persimmon scone is the best scone I’ve ever had) make this the perfect place that one can never get tired of. The only downside is that I live so far away. Make this be a testament to the place that I’m willing to sit through 40 minutes of traffic to get here to get their food!

finally!!! a place that makes pizza the way its supposed to be made. even there crust is totally delicious

Pizza itself is fantastic although the crust is a bit too hard. Nice open space with several picnic tables and some are covered but bad part of that is the extremely loud traffic in the area totally spoils your enjoyment. Just make sure you keep track of your order tone which should be about 15-20 min but at least they'll put it in a hot box to keep it warm. They forgot to notify me after 45 min.
