This is a legit vegetarian Chinese food restaurant with fresh dishes, great flavors without garlic, and healthy portions for fair prices. It was an excellent lunch that left me feeling happily satisfied and not stuffed. The wonton soup was very good. The basil green beans were amazing. The braised tofu with vegetables was so fresh and delicious. It's a great place that I'd recommend again.
A wonderful place to go when doing a diplomatic mission to (or protest of) the University of California Office of the President (across the street). Everything we had was excellent - vegetarian fried wontons, salt & pepper tofu, sweet & sour vegetarian “pork”, black mushrooms & vegetables, ma bo tofu, and more. Staff was friendly (especially considering that we parked outside their restaurant and held a major online protest event to protect Mauna Kea for several hours before we ever ordered!). Prices were very reasonable. I wish I could have tried more things on the menu - will definitely be back!
I can't really rate this restaurant fairly because I didn't eat here. We had to leave because due to Covid, they stopped dine in service. They were only doing takeout.
Great price and good service, but the food was just okay. I went a few years ago and I loved it, so I was surprised at how drastic of a change things were. Disappointed they're still not doing indoor dining, but I'm not holding that against them
Mmmmmmmm! My best friend brought me here and I loved it.We ordered vegetarian dim sum (shrimp dumpling, pork dumpling, mushroom dumpling, turnip cake) spicy salted fried tofu, and lotus root delight. Everything was SO good.Everything was reasonably priced.Service was good and fairly quick.Generous portions.Would love to try their other stuff. So good!
My partner and I ordered several things. We been trying as many vegan places in Oakland as we can. We love exploring vegan food. In comparison, this place is ok. I would skip it unless you want bland food. Their fried rice had no flavor. I was so sad eating it because I was really looking forward to trying this place out. The fried wontons were also not good. They were stale and the “meat” within was non-existent and tasted like hot dog. However, I gave it a two star because General Taos Chicken was decent. The employees also aren’t welcoming or friendly to Latinos and black people.
Really good food, general tso chicken is really good and soups are soothing good to make you feel better.
love it ,love it ,love it ,all vegan and the owners and staff are super nice . Almost everything I've tried has been excellent
Nature’s never disappoints, been coming here for years and everybody is super friendly
Hands down best Chinese food. I'm happy they've remained open throughout the pandemic fir take out. Can't wait for dine to return.
