After a really long day in Napa I had a really nice hankering for a good burger. Nation's came Highly recommended. I was staying at a Hotel directly up the street so I thought I would try them out.Well,They did not disappoint! They cook their food fresh and perfectly! I only ordered a cheeseburger, but I did request grilled onions and sliced pickles and it was delicious ?.They had lots of pie choices on display and people were coming in to get them! I hear that they are really good, but I am not a pie eater so I can't comment on that.The dining area could have been a bit cleaner, but I was getting my food to go and the area behind the counter where they were cooking looked clean and well organized so I was good with that..lolI also heard they had great shakes. So you should definitely give them a try when near one!
Good food and services, but parking is troubling, besides what your time. I will encourage you to go and try what they have to offer.
The dining room here closes early. 7:00 p.m. check in future to see when or if this changes. Good food, good place. Good location, I miss hearing the trains for so long! Got another harvester with fries. Love those. Just discovered that nations has salmon. Will have to try in future. I think they deliver through doordash, but am not sure. I know other nations in this area do that. I think I saw one dasher while I was there, but wasn't paying good attention.
SMH unfortunately they keep giving me under cooked burgers ? ? but what's important is there behind the counter how they leave products out all day without ice .cheese, pancake mix ,cooking raw meat right next to the cooked meat.
This is what I got when I ordered the chili dog. A burnt soggy mess. Milkshake was good though

How is the average only 3 stars???? Kirks is the best burger in the bay area period. Counters #2, Five Guys #3... Maybe this place is old, a little dirty, but the burger is amazing. Just get over your stuck up Silicon Valley self and go to this 50+ old classic joint.
Ordered a 3/4 lbs hamburger + fries for a total of $9.32.The burger was indeed quite giant and tasty. There are also three benches / tables right at the parking lot to eat.However:- service was extremely slow. Got quoted a 10min wait after ordering but had to wait 25 (!) minutes instead. For one burger to take-out...- fries were floppy and tasteless. Definitely need more salt (and should be prepared fresh)
Cheeseburger was great told them how i wanted it the cook did it just the way i asked vanilla milkshake was awesome French fries were cold could have been better
